Mew2King's said it before... "Brawl Meta Knight is the only Melee character in Brawl. The others are true Brawl characters."
Basically yeah.

Meanwhile Smash 4 Bayo is like a crazy fighting game character stuck in Smash.

When it comes to games I really hating pirating to hell. In fact I outright refuse it. Anime and TV shows to a certain extent.

Music on the other hand.......................
I used to pirate anime. That's how I saw all of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, One Punch man, like 8 episodes of Dragon Quest Dai, and seasons 1-4 MHA.

RIP Kissanime, you were a real one. But Hulu's my best friend now.

Truth is, I don't like pirating games I don't own.

The only time that I'm fine with pirating if its super old to the point where it doesn't matter, or if it's impossible to find to the point where I have to pirate. I rather own games legally, and I don't mind emulating games that I legally own.
Same tbh. the few times I've pirated stuff, it's only been stuff like Pokemon Red which is basically impossible to find with original hardware anyway.

And even then it's a rare thing for me. Not really interested in playing old games unless it's part of a bigger experience, like the Kingdom Hearts games.

I beat God of War 1 - the game had a smaller scale than what I expected (apparently, God of War 2 and 3 are more like what I thought this was going to be, with over-the-top setpieces and boss battles against a variety of Greek heroes, monsters, and gods, though I figured the gods would be saved for the second or third game anyway), and more of an emphasis on platforming and puzzle solving. The combat was excellent, though the platforming wasn't the best (the lack of camera control didn't help, and neither did the extended sections where you had to cross balance beams). All in all, it's a solid foundation, though Kratos isn't a likable character.

I'm working my way through my Playstation backlog, so I've got plenty of options:
-God of War 2 (and 3)
-Kingdom Hearts 2 (and Birth By Sleep)
-The Last of Us
-Ratchet and Clank Collection (the first three games)
-Uncharted 1-3
-Ico or Shadow of the Colossus
-inFamous

I haven't owned a Playstation system until a few years back, so I haven't played any of these before. (I've already beaten Persona 5 and 4, Kingdom Hearts 1, and Metal Gear Solid 4)

And that's just the physical games (I have plenty of PS1 and PS2 RPGs downloaded, like Legend of Dragoon, Xenogears, or Persona 3, though I'll save those for later since they're pretty big time commitments)

There are other ways my friend. There are other ways.

For real though I've Crunchyroll for like 75-80% of anime I've seen and the rest including movies via the high seas.

I see Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. You are in a perfect treat my friend. Those games are nothing short of amazing.

If things like KissAnime counts as pirating...then I've never stopped. To this day, I continue to use both watchcartoononline (for whatever it may be that I can't watch on tv) and putlocker for movies. I even got wrestling websites to watch **** for free that isn't from WWE (AEW, Impact, UFC even (don't overthink that part), etc.)

A true pirate I seem to be

This kid just randomly started recording a video in class, so I was a bit uncomfortable that I was in it. I asked her to delete it, and she didn‘t, so I asked a teacher for help. Her friends then started **** talking me and saying I was “causing problems”.

I didn’t cause crap, she was the one recording my voice without my consent.

To be honest, I know next to nothing about Ico. I know Shadow of the Colossus through reputation, and I've seen some clips (the first colossus, the last colossus, and I think there's one that's a giant bird?), but I haven't sat down to play it. (it's the PS3 remaster, though I'm not sure if that makes a difference - I think the PS4 one is held in higher regard, though maybe that's because they put more effort into improving the graphics?)

:/ Oh damn, I did went through something similar when I was in high school. I really hope that it can be solved, because that's not something okay to do.

Ok, but you're spitting on UFC.

It shouldn't be that hard to find UFC matches. Like, no reason for it to be.

Ah yes, the viscous cycle of piracy.

Entertainment company refuses to make product accessible.
People interested in product turn to piracy.
Entertainment company sees that people are pirating and decide it's not profitable.
Entertainment company refuses to make product accessible.
Repeat.

So a coworker's birthday isn't far from mine and we're planning to gift each other. He asks me to make a list of things I'd like for ideas and I plan to get him either a Steam or Oculus gift card.

Then sit down my friend as I tell how amazing these games are.

Ico
The game is kinda a massive escort mission but actually decent. Boy with horns (Ico) and a pale girl (Yorda) who speak different languages are both locked in a castle. Both help each other to escape. Ico can fight off shadow monsters that try and kidnap Yorda while she can open special doors that would help them escape so one can't survive without the other. There's a lot of puzzle solving but it isn't too hard.

What you get is a game made of a creator's love for his work through and through as well as a one of a kind story about companionship. For me this game is very important to me and I love it. In that I can't understate how much I love it.

Shadow of the Colossus
One man (along with his horse) vs sixteen colossi throughout a land that 100% fits the words "hauntingly beautiful" and then some. You get some of the greatest boss-fights in the industry, one of the best music scores and a short but perfect story about sacrifice. There's a climbing and stamina mechanic which can get a bit frustrating on one of the bosses but that's the only issue I've had.

And like Ico, this is one of my favourite games of all time.

Lastly if it makes you feel better I thought Ico was a top-down dungeon crawler and Shadow of the Colossus was an outdoor horror game before I bought them but once I watched the reviews I got it. I think everyone should play these two games.

There you go. My sales pitch is done.
