A few pages back someone talked 'bout a special demo with an announced character on it. I don't remember who said this, but I hope and pray that this is true.

Dang, Roidley looks so classy when he claps, even though this is fake.OH MY GOOOOOOOOD !!!!!!!!!!!!
![]()
Just kidding, it's sadly a fake, you will never catch me alive my friends =p
I wish I could play him! He seems so good! Maybe he won't be dirt tier?*Ridley talk*
Also Bowser's great btw. It's never felt so good to be a heavyweight in Smash as far as I recall.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was. Demos seem to have HUGE amounts of differences.A few pages back someone talked 'bout a special demo with an announced character on it. I don't remember who said this, but I hope and pray that this is true.
most of those are just the differences between the 3ds and wii u versionI wouldn't be surprised if it was. Demos seem to have HUGE amounts of differences.
- Some have 1 station, some have none.
- Some have the 3DS version, some don't.
- Some have a WEIRD variety of things being handed out to people who participate. Some don't.
- Some let people play Smash Run or as different characters like Luigi or Sheik or Toon Link. Some didn't.
Like I dunno what was going on there. xD But yes.
I still wish the losing players were in the background behind the winner so if Ridley loses the other losing players would be restraining him as he tried to get revenge, and if there are no other players, then he would be chasing after the winner. To be fair, seeing Ridley clapping his hands may be odd for his losing animation. Maybe have him do a face palm, while showing some frustration instead.
I mean a demo at e3, not smashfest, This could spell good things for Ridley's announcement. I HOPE TODAYI wouldn't be surprised if it was. Demos seem to have HUGE amounts of differences.

Thing is, most Ridley supporters are also Metroid fans... and the last good Metroid game was in 2007. We swim in disappointments basically.if it makes you people feel better, think it could always be worse... think that you could be a half life fan...
I mean, Half life 2 episode 3 was supposed to be launched at 2008 tops
One does not restrain Ridley, that would be a good idea.I still wish the losing players were in the background behind the winner so if Ridley loses the other losing players would be restraining him as he tried to get revenge, and if there are no other players, then he would be chasing after the winner.![]()
It's not like Ridley would need a losing animation anyway, Rildey never lose ! NEVER !To be fair, seeing Ridley clapping his hands may be odd for his losing animation. Maybe have him do a face palm, while showing some frustration instead.
When all of the fans are silenced, Ridley will roar.Ohh, I wouldn't know about the E3 demo. But hey, maybe if we're really lucky we might get veteran reveals out of E3 after all. Though really I am like 90% convinced at this point they're riding Ridley all the way to the release date.![]()
Well, that doesn't mean that we won't get any smash today whatsoever, unlikely as it may be, we may get at least one thing that is new if they cover smash again since they've already beaten us to death with stuff we already know.fantasy life, steam
no smash
wait for august, guys
Don't want to raise hopes or anything but...Not sure if this has already been brought up... http://www.reddit.com/r/smashbros/comments/27y26j/hey_im_zero_ill_be_doing_an_ama_tomorrow_at_7_pm/
Pay attention to the bold parts especially.
Thoughts?
Any idea when we can expect this "announcement?"Uhhh, guys?

Today. That's all the message says. I would guess late since they're going to spend a lot of time with STEAM.Any idea when we can expect this "announcement?"
He doesn't know anything we don't except he played and won the invitationalToday. That's all the message says. I would guess late since they're going to spend a lot of time with STEAM.
I didn't notice that at all. I thought it was to correspond with Friday the 13th, the day that Ridley Murders everyone. Before this goes too far, that is the release date for "How to Train Your Dragon 2." I apologize, I just could not resist. It would have been such a wasted opportunity.
Posted in wrong thread? Just assuming since it seems like the wrong thread for a thread all about Ridley discussion and Ridley hype..and well, Ridley :/Well, I finally got a chance to get my hands on Smash Bros for Wii U...and I gotta say...as a Sonic main, having him have as much KO potential as he does now feels a bit jarring. Not to mention that Sonic Adventure Pose Down Smash is a nice touch...and I do indeed prefer RGC's performance of Sonic in this game, it's pretty good.
Also took some time to hang back and watch some matches to see if I could spot anything about the other 19 characters, and here's what I got:
Mario: Still strongly balanced, but has much better KO potential. FLUDD looks useful this time around, and recovery distance has been boosted.
Link: Link has been super-buffed. He's still slow, but his attacks now have KO potential to boot. That dash attack looks like a prime KO move.
Donkey Kong: Speaking of KO Potential, DK's power has definitely expanded...though it does look like his overall damage output may have been lowered.
Samus: Sakurai wasn't kidding, she looks brutal. Her attacks are strong, she's more nimble, and that forward smash is actually useable this time around.
Marth: Marth looks like he's basically back at his Melee level of play, looking much better here than in Brawl. Overall though, his balancing doesn't seem that different.
Bowser: With the speed he has, the launch power, and the like, Bowser is definitely not going to be low tier this time around.
Zero Suit Samus: Watching the tourney more than explained how good ZSS is now when she's not stalling for sudden death, but after actually facing one, she's better than I thought...couldn't beat that Super Sonic Speed though.
Greninja: One of the most chosen characters I saw, Greninja looks fun to use, having quick attacks but seems to be a lightweight, getting KOd at about 85% from a good smash attack. Not quite Kirby level, but still.
Fox: Fox's weight has been upped, he's definitely heavier here than in Brawl. Overall, Melee Fox users will be happy with him in this new game.
Pikachu: Pikachu's power seems to be nerfed a bit, but his speed looks a bit upped from Brawl. Comboing out of Thunder looks like a prime way for Pikachu players to play.
Zelda: Zelda's attacks hit pretty damn hard from what I've seen, even harder than in Brawl. She's possibly lighter as a result.
Kirby: Kirby is Kirby, he looks pretty similar except parred better for the faster gameplay.
Rosalina: I got to play two matches, and Rosie was my second choice. As expected, she's easily the character with the largest learning curve. She has pretty good launch power with both herself and Luma, but it's going to take dedication to learn how to use that Luma properly to counter that lightweight feel she has.
MegaMan: MegaMan, obviously, is a long-range fighter, but he has tools for getting out of the fray and getting back into the heat of things easily, and that immense fall-speed is pretty useful.
Olimar: Olimar's still great, he's kept alot of his tools that made him be a great character in Brawl, though it feels like he has more tools for close-quarters fights this time around.
Wii Fit Trainer: WFT looks like she controls pretty easily, one of the easiest characters to pick up and use. Timing into Deep Breathing may be tricky for newcomers though.
Villager: Villager didn't look like he had much KO Potential, EXCEPT for his aerials, which seem to hit like trucks for whatever reason. That forward smash is definitely going to be a edge-guard's favorite though.
Little Mac: Little Mac looks terrifying, especially on the Coliseum. If there's no edges, Little Mac is always going to dominate. Though, while his aerial game is bad, it's not quite as bad as Sakurai made it out to be.
Pit: He looks buffed overall, but still lacking a bit of KO potential. That recovery is still stupidely good though, possibly even better than it was before.
The thread needs some kind of good news aside from continuing to worry about Ridley's fate, and having no Pyrosphere doesn't exactly make anybody feel any better. That aside, to relate that to Ridley...some people I was talking with were talking about how they wished Ridley was playable, and were kind of upset that Pyrosphere wasn't playable at the demo.Posted in wrong thread? Just assuming since it seems like the wrong thread for a thread all about Ridley discussion and Ridley hype..and well, Ridley :/
Don't worry I heard of a good doctor, he will gladly take care of your ills just as long as you've got fever or the chillsBecause of the ups and downs of the last few days, I seriously think my physical and mental well-being is at risk.
I'll probably have to go a hospital if my spirit and hype gets crushed again today by more needless rehashing and empty claims of exciting announcements.![]()
OOK listen to everyone thinking they maybe something announced today I doubt it but to people hinging on to what that one user said in the E3 thread about a few vets and mewtwo and posted a link that got removed because it was PORN!!Because of the ups and downs of the last few days, I seriously think my physical and mental well-being is at risk.
