As far as I know and have the ability to research, no, it does not. I think in Other M it was Geoform 187? Maybe?Does Ridley's species have a name?
I think that was just what the scientists in the facility named it cause they had no idea what it wasAs far as I know and have the ability to research, no, it does not. I think in Other M it was Geoform 187? Maybe?
In Metroid Prime, he is indeed called geoform 187, but he's also called USR 6 (Unidentified Sentient Race 6) in the non-canonical Captain N: The Game Master comic.Does Ridley's species have a name?
This may be a stretch, but I'd wager that Captain N probably isn't an authority on Metroid canon. In Metroid Prime, he is indeed called geoform 187, but he's also called USR 6 (Unidentified Sentient Race 6) in the non-canonical Captain N: The Game Master comic.
Don't the shadows work the lower you are the smaller your shadow?Im ignoring the first part but
Yes everyone has different information on the shadow
And to help ridley yet again yes theres also a shrinking illusion for shadows as well but those are extremely rare from 1 light angle especially because the light source is the flowing lava which is a few inches higher than the arena itself so its a side light source
The shrinking one is only possible from a above view light

When there's more information than that which has already been provided, it's a good idea to present it even if it may prove useless overall....then why mention it? I know I'd certainly feel better without Captain N references.
I was joking, dude. When there's more information than that which has already been provided, it's a good idea to present it even if it may prove useless overall.
Intriguing thought, Ridl.. Little Birdie hatching from an egg.Yoshi has been described as amphibious before, I believe. However, all of them are cold blooded being reptilian and amphibious, unless you go by the theory that Dinosaurs, like Yoshi and Ridley(pterosaurs are close enough) are warm blooded, in which case, there is no connection between them other than theoretically hatching from eggs.
I wouldn't know if Ridley hatched from an egg, since I didn't play Other M.
Well with how the size argument got officially debunked in some previous updates as pointed out which not even the toobigots can refute, at least we know for sure that that isn't/won't be the reason for Ridley's likely glaring omission now, right? But didn't you know? Ridley is the only video game character who can't physically be resized. It is literally impossible. It's a ghost curse from awesome skeleton hell college or something. Ridley just somehow is not really a video game character, and can't be resized. Olimar is and can.
Besides this old one I posted some pages back, none really that I know of.I never seen any good Humanizations of Ridley
Anyone got any?
Correct you are.The pirates called Ridley Geoform 187 in Metroid Prime 1 if I remember correctly..
I think Ridley's species should officially be called 'Bad Ass Space Pterodragon,' but that's just me.I personally would be cool with using USR6 for Ridley's species. I don't think Geoform 187 actually works, I always assumed that was like. The Space Pirates science tag for Meta Ridley or something. I don't know.
That's pretty lame.5:43
Immune to projectles
Double damage done to opponments
And temporary instead of until shot with a super missle
And ofcoarse immune to knockback as well
Oh and another hint of size is smaller if you don't blink in the video ridley fills the whole middle circle while he does not on the ssb4 version
I dunno, I don't think it'd catch on. That's kind of weird to say repeatedly in a conversation.I think Ridley's species should officially be called 'Bad *** Space Pterodragon,' but that's just me.
They don't have a name for the Space Pirate species. They just refer to them by their organization. Hell, their homeworld is literally referred to as their homeworld.Wait a minute, wasn't the Galactic Federation responsible for the extinction of Ridley's kind? One would think they'd know the name of his race.
Then again the GF isn't exactly the most competent group out there...
Yeah, I don't know where the "Federation responsible for Space Dragon extinction" thing came from. And nothing's showing up in the games or the Metroid Wiki.Wait a minute, wasn't the Galactic Federation responsible for the extinction of Ridley's kind? One would think they'd know the name of his race.

The whole sector is called the Pyrosphere, the area where you fight Ridley (which is being used as a stage in Smash U) is called the Geothermal Power Plant.I never played Other M, so I'm gonna ask: what is the diference between Geotermal Pyrosphere and Pyrosphere? I've seen some of you saying something about this and I don't want to be left behind
It is the Geothermal Power Plant (where you fight Roidley) and the Pyrosphere is the entire Sector 3....i think...I never played Other M, so I'm gonna ask: what is the diference between Geotermal Pyrosphere and Pyrosphere? I've seen some of you saying something about this and I don't want to be left behind
Here's a question.
What would his Final Smash be?
Well it seems that i got a reference for the drawing...or that i will not have to draw it anymore.....i don't know... :3View attachment 13119
"Ridley! Meta Ridley! Clone/Other Ridley! Omega Ridley! Neo Ridley X! Ridley legends unite."
Im sorry but that looks like the only option i can't see his wall grinding move for a final smash (that would be my second choice if theres a way to interpret that to a final smash)That's pretty lame.
Oh yea i know that im just saying theres no possible way the shadow would be something like thisDon't the shadows work the lower you are the smaller your shadow?
Zero Suit Samus/Metroid/Pit shadows.

Then the higher you are the bigger the shadows? I mostly see Sonic's shadow and it looks around the same size of his body.

Here is the lowest Ridley shadow we got. lol Look at the tip of Ridley's tail shadow compared to Zamus's shadow in the above pic......Ridley isn't that big people. Tiny Ridley for Smash.

...Glad to be reminded of that thing's existence first thing after forgetting the site for a couple daysBesides this old one I posted some pages back, none really that I know of.
Do we actually have some pictures of shadows getting bigger then characters? I have only really found pictures of shadows getting smaller then characters in Smash 4.Oh yea i know that im just saying theres no possible way the shadow would be something like this
A smaller shadow to make something big look smaller
The shadow is already big enough and if the shadow would be even smaller than the character itself, then I wonder how it would make any sense.Do we actually have some pictures of shadows getting bigger then characters? I have only really found pictures of shadows getting smaller then characters in Smash 4.
I meant to reply to this since I do have/have seen a few, but they a little on the NSFW side.I never seen any good Humanizations of Ridley
Anyone got any?
Relly i thought most shadows are bigger than the real thingDo we actually have some pictures of shadows getting bigger then characters? I have only really found pictures of shadows getting smaller then characters in Smash 4.
Yeah the shadows seem to stay pretty close to the character sizes. The shadow is already big enough and if the shadow would be even smaller than the character itself, then I wonder how it would make any sense.
I smell Sakurai trolling...and Space Dragons.Yeah the shadows seem to stay pretty close to the character sizes.

So wouldn't that prove even more that the big tail bone is just an illusion cuz the tail is just super close to the screen...? No way if the tail was that big would it give off such a tiny shadow. I call shenanigans!!!
