I never know what's canon anymore with these game series that have an actual plot and just release games way out of chronological order. You guys are all wrong on it. He bailed Mother Brain and co. at the end of Super Metroid, remember?
What? You say Nintendo Power isn't canon? Shucks!

You don't want to hear my Metroid split timeline theory?Ease up, Metroid fortunately isn't Zelda.
Anyways, the Pyrosphere didn't kill Ridley.Yoshio SakamotoThe Metroid Queen did.
Which was cloned from the Baby. The Baby killed Ridley, guys.
I miss your Coop avi, Gold.
I'm going to admit, I watched through that whole video to see if I was in it.She should have said it like this:

*sniff* I-ma so proud of that.
...At first I was about to question the logic about the Queen Metroid of Other M, being cloned from THEBABYTHEBABYTHEBABYTHEBABY wouldn't sense Samus and not attack, but then I remembered that cloning doesn't work like that.
....unless you're Ridley, apparently.
Which brings up the questioning yet again....
Just saying, that's nearly as many times as it is said in the whole game.At first I was about to question the logic about the Queen Metroid of Other M, being cloned from THEBABYTHEBABYTHEBABYTHEBABY wouldn't sense Samus and not attack, but then I remembered that cloning doesn't work like that.

The Other M: Ridley Chronicles.
Same as Ridley, clearly.I want to know what kind of mustache cream James Pierce buys.
That's why you use cardboard. That's what K. Rool did.Ridley's to big to make in Paper.
That's horrifying for a variety of reasons. I'd rather have cardboard Ridley.I had a terrible dream (read:nightmare) that Ridley was confirmed but he was grey , not anorexic version of the Super Metroid design , bigger thights and
(next thing was sort of scary)
Sakurai and Yoshio Sakamoto decided that his face was too long so it was replaced with a human anime face with white hair , he still had the spiky back of his head .
He was here to advertise a horror movie about the same Ridley being the monster in sewers/basements where a group of people went to after parties.

Thats actually a thing i been thinking a lot, and its also pretty possible. So, what are the chances of a new Metroid game, presuming that it's the near-legendary Metroid Dread, coming out soon? If we get a Nintendo Direct by the end of this year and it has Metroid Dread in it, then presumably a playable Ridley could be used to advertise it.
They were not standalone new titles (except for one), but things like Metroid Pinball, the Trilogy edition, Zero Mission, and Prime Hunters. Not that I don't believe you, but out of curiosity, what Metroid game(s) sold even worse than Other M?
As for Metroid Dread, that was a project supposedly canned long time ago. There was even an in-game scan in Prime 3 that kinda teased about it. I'm guessing Dread only still gets mention because of people gasping at straws on where the series could be taken next.
Prime hunters multiplayer was so sick for a ds game. They were not standalone new titles (except for one), but things like Metroid Pinball, the Trilogy edition, Zero Mission, and Prime Hunters.
Oh I know. I'd pay up for an HD expanded remake for the Wii U. The multiplayer, anyway.Prime hunters multiplayer was so sick for a ds game.
Single player would also greatly benefit with a bigger touchscreen, analog sticks, HD, motion control, wii remote + nunchuck option, etc.Oh I know. I'd pay up for an HD expanded remake for the Wii U. The multiplayer, anyway.
I wasn't a huge fan of the singleplayer. I didn't like how other than Gorea and the other hunters changing locations, the bosses were the same two things recycled over and over again.Single player would also greatly benefit with a bigger touchscreen, analog sticks, HD, motion control, wii remote + nunchuck option, etc.
Stay here and discuss the purple one with us. It's fu- Oh. Right. He's cardboard at the moment.WTH?!?! I just noticed that this is the ridley thread and not the miiverse daily thread.
Ok. I'll give it a try. Let's see...Stay here and discuss the purple one with us. It's fu- Oh. Right. He's cardboard at the moment.
