Simply check Marth's Fram Data:Most of the people in this combo vid are good players. It's hard to airdodge when you are being hit by him he's going too fast.
It's like "Don't get grabbed Marth edition" The side b combo's in this vid are unescapable if they are escapable someone has to show me how. But you did a hell of a job Nice combo vid ramin
Good combo video...
Simply check Marth's Fram Data:
The first hit of dancing blade has 21-22 frames of stun. And at least 23 frames of cooldown. So if Marth hits with the first strike and does not continue, his opponent wil come out of hitstun before marth's cooldown ends. Marth's fastest attack is 4 frames. Shields come up in 2 frames. The math says that just by holding down a shield button, any dancing blade -> other attack combo is blockable on the ground and airdodgable in the air.
The combos in the video are not inescapable, they are chains of attacks that link together because the victim is making a predictable choice and getting ***** for it. Case in point: Opening sequence Dancing Blade -> Shieldbreaker. Marth hits the first swing and shields, snake could have: Spot dodged, Rolled/ran away, attacked, Shielded. Snake chose to shield, and gets said shield broken. Not a combo, its punishment for making a predictable choice. In other words it was a mindgame.
Combo videos are not meant to accurately portray what is consistently possible with a character at a high level of play. Its meant to show off long flashy sequences which this video does quite nicely. Now if you expect someone like M2K, or even a button masher, to constantly eat combos like this; you are sadly mistaken.
If any of these were actually inescapable other than "don't get hit," Marth would be Akuma tier.
That aside, entertaining video and well put together but the graphic effects distract from the awesomeness of repeated sword slashes. Oh, LOL at the broken shield plummet of doom on zelda.
Yes, shieldbreak -> taunt is far too 1337. Its guaranteed damage to your opponents ego, and who doesnt like free damage?entertaining vid however unrealistic, one editting beef, the intro is too long, it's like 1:30 before you see any actual gameplay
taunting immediately after shield break is too good
well, How Much Of The Video Was Wifi? Cause I Saw A Ton Of Wifi Stuff. But The Editing And Music Was Nice. Some Stuff Was Good, but Too Much Dair For My Taste.
Dont trip about the sucky opponents. In a combo vid, you are SUPPOSED to pwn your opponents. I mean c'mon this is brawl were talking about, BRAWL! COMBOS DON EXITS!!! I enjoyed the video but that long intro was "wtfizz did i just get rick rolled?"yeah i know this vid still has allot wrong with it my next combo vid will definetely have
-better oponnents
-better spacing
-better combos
-better editing
as for this one just consider it as an entertaining video if you want to
why is everyone saying too much dair?Pretty good vid. A little less d-air would be nice.
Sorry kadaj.
