Alright, let's get to the bottom of this.

Some **** went down at Pound 5, and some **** went up if you catch my drift.

I'm trying to find out what caused all of the stomach viruses.

Post your case, when you started feeling sick, where you ate, and all that, etc.

I was sick the weekend before pound 5, however it wasn't a stomach virus, but luckily that raised my defenses so I didn't catch this one. However at pound 4 I caught a stomach virus.. it was horrible I should have made a thread like this. Good luck finding out i'm curious.

I definitely had a stomach virus the tuesday - thursday before pound. It's not some isolated incident. It has been going around a LOT in my area. PA/MD/DE. So since VA is fairly close, I imagine it isn't uncommon to catch it from someone there.

Tis the season...

food poisoning takes several days to settle in, so it's more than likely not the mcdonnalds.

you all may have had something prior to pound 5 and the mcdoubles just amplified that.

I think it was the Mcdonald's. I felt like death after every mc double.
I had McDonalds Saturday and Sunday. Nothing to report.

People keep telling me it was the Chipotle though.

Or maybe you take it for granted that tournaments like this decreases your defenses like crazy after almost no sleep and eating junk all 3 days lol. It usually takes me 1 week before I manage to regen from a tournament of a size like this. The adrenaline that is constantly pumping and stuff...

Completely agreed with Kage, I always just feel bleh after long weekend tourneys

Though I don't agree with him taking like a week to recharged. Kage is too much of a Warrior to ever feel down.

I got sick (sore throat + headache + bad cough) Sunday morning, but I always get sick when sleeping on the floor (APEX/ROM3). It got worse because I only slept for 3 and a half hours out of 76 hours.

Still sick right now.

If it's any indicator, here in western PA it seems like almost everybody's gotten sick at least once, and this predates P5, soooooo it might just be the weather or something like that.

If you guys are going to post where you ate, you should post what you ate.

I didn't get food poisoning (I did get a cold, but that's from Fyre).
I ate at Jimmy Johns and had a Club Lulu, Dunking Donuts and had a coffee and crescent breakfast sandwhich, and I went to Chik-Fil-A and had a standard sandwich.

I woke up on Sunday with a bit of a weird feeling in my throat.
I came with Flow and he started feeling that on Saturday.

Ate McDonalds and that Sandwich place down the street with the bomb family made rootbeer.
I don't think it was food poisoning.

Oh, and I had the most disgusting fast food I've ever had on the way down (PopEyes).
All I know is whatever this was it made me vomit on Monday and rendered me unable to play smash on that day =/

The main differences between America and Europe:

America: fat, unhealthy
Europe: slim, fit

Yeah because we all know there are no fat people in Europe, and we also don't want to bring up the fact that as of 2010 the obesity rate of Europe is only 5-6 percent (fluctuating of course because of the per capita of people that don't report) from the US.

If you're going to be an ignorant troll you should probably stop :D.

I basically only had McDonald's nuggets all weekend. I puked my guts out Monday morning.

Though I still want to blame my getting sick on my long-time controller breaking right before an important tourney match :p

Yeah, I was talking to Smith a day or two after and he outright could not talk. He still hasn't been on the DR skype in awhile. Poor guy.
