yes you are fun fact at least 90% of the tournment goes do not have Pal and really that's very unfair to them tto ask them to train on a different game. As a pichu main I would not care much for Pal even if it does help him a s*** lot.

the pal version is the only way that peach players will even remotely stand a chance against sheik players. it's like, 50/50 in pal, and 65/35 in ntsc (sheik's favor).

im pretty sure amsah and armada would agree with me, here

I refuse to play a game where they hurt the good characters as a way to try and be balanced. I hate when games do that instead of making the worse characters better. It's not like it really matters anyway, Peach and Puff become better while the trash characters are still trash.

Although Nobody has a chance to be USA's best puffs in PAL. Imagine Kage vs Mango with PAL's ganon? Imagine any PAL fox vs Hbox.......nah it's a bunch of bull****. If PAL was the standard they can just give away the money to Jiggs players at the door on day 1.

Amsah already explained this: PAL is more balanced overall. But NTSC is more balanced among the top tiers, and because PAL doesn't help the lower tiers enough to make them truly viable anyway, NTSC is a better tournament standard.

Switching to PAL would be a pain. Considering like... everyone BUT europe uses NTSC like... canada the us mexico ... brazil.. dominican republic has a pretty big scene that uses ntsc... isn't japan ntsc too??? it would be so hard to convert basically the entire world but europe lol. NTSC is better anyway 1.0 specifically is the best version of melee IMO.
