"He just guessed everything guys. I mean, everything was really easy to guess anyways."
To be perfectly fair, they were all easy to guess.
...Except for Wii Fit Trainer, Shulk (more or less), Chorus Kids, and the name "Mii Fighter" (but Mii was an extremely easy guess).
The name "Mii Fighter" and the Sneaky Spirit enemy, added on top of WFT skyrocketed the plausibility beyond "lucky guess/most wanted compilation" levels.
The problem is, the validity of the leak will never be truly agreed upon.
If they're all correct, then pro-people will say he's right and anti-peeps that he was exceptionally lucky.
If the last 3 are NOT playable (or any combination/one of them), then anti-people will say he was wrong, but pro-peeps will say he purposely added characters to throw off Nintendo or that they must have gotten cut since he got his info.
So regardless of what happens, people are going to find ways for it to fit their side, just like the Ridley trolling.
Lucas & Ness won't prove anything (tons of people expected Lucas cut, and the leak wasn't set in stone on him).
Characters not in the leak won't prove anything (like Rosalina, maybe).
Chrom won't necessarily prove anything, but will be one more confirmed from the list.
Chorus Kids, however will seal the deal to where anyone doubting it is literally just in denial. Especially if it's exactly them. There's simply no getting around that. Guessing Wii Fit Trainer AND Chorus Men/Kids (by name), and the name Mii Fighter? Forget it. Those aren't guesses.
Having said that, I still entertain the idea that it could easily be lucky guesses until we get Shulk & Chorus Kids. But at that point, we'll likely have all the characters confirmed anyway, so it doesn't even matter if it was right, since we'll have the full roster.
All it will really mean at that point is that SSB's getting DLC and that we can trust the mysterious Gematsu leaker in the future, assuming he isn't/wasn't fired. Unless this was all secretly done INTENTIONALLY by Nintendo to gauge interest in the characters before revealing them.
As for DLC, I mean, they were asking at the Nintendo Store "what characters do you want to see?" Why would they ask that if they weren't considering more characters? Just as a formality?
