Hey everyone. I didn't feel like reading 475 pages of posts, but could someone fill me in on what's going on brawl-wise (weeklies, tournaments etc.) in the Pittsburgh/NW PA area? Going back to Grove City college in a couple of weeks and thought I'd see who plays smash around here. :)

I mean both can be discussed here, this is a PITTSBURGH thread, not a Melee in Pittsburgh thread.

Feel free to discuss advertise your events, but most of us are pretty out of touch with brawl.

Well, there IS a Brawl Tournament being hosted in Pittsburgh at the Peterson Center on the 16th of August... But it isn't being hosted by anyone who knows how to host a decent Smash Tournament. The rules are idiotic. 2 Minute Timed Matches and you're only allowed to use the Wii Remote controls. GameStop all over again.

As for local stuff... Well... some of us still play Brawl. Though don't expect us to take it seriously, it's all just for fun rather than actually measuring skill.

@Taki: I texted Matt, though he hasn't responded. I'll call in a few minutes. Do you know what time he works, or if he's working today?

Matt has about three videos with Jacob recorded, I'm not sure if they were in the Melee Folder I gave you (Depends on if I had updated them before or after that. They were there, but either not named and not moved or otherwise)

Also, when are you available to come over? I know you're moving soon for college, so getting some footage with everybody before you move would be a good idea.

My buddy and I will smash some brawl with ya

My cell phone is destroyed right now so just ring my house phone any time your free to smash. Just ask for "Aaron" and ill get to ya if I can.

I love smash. Me smash anything. Even brawl heh (See what i did there? :laugh:)
