Why do people still want to play melee? I wasn't able to get remotely good at it because it was too techical... Seems like brawl is a better game for making players actually have to predict more than a player did in Melee... I think I might be a minority saying that here though... =X

eh, big deal. most people in GA don't like brawl because you can't l-cancel and cover your tracks anymore. that, and they feel it is too slow, because all slow fighting games are bad, apparently... :ohwell: i like both games, so i'll play both.

p.s. i'm marty, the peach/roy guy.

I'm going to have to agree with you on tht one. For the most part, since brawl is slower without L-canceling and whatnot, theres less room to make mistakes. However, since it is slower, there could be more room to make mistakes since you cant be punished as quickly. I guess it depends on the situation really.

Oh yeah Marty, so about our school getting better since you left, I guess we were wrong. You probably heard about how our orchestra teacher was arrested yesterday for sexual assasult against a student? Yeah. And I was reminded today about how last year our Lacrosse coach was arrested for possessing child porn. So yeah, point is that kind of thing is still going on i guess.

Unfortunately, no, finals are coming up and as soon as school lets out I'm getting the heck outta the US until late June.

So um....if there's a tournament sometime then or during summer and we somehow remember about this and I somehow don't suck at Melee by that time I will play you. AND EVERYONE

You guys make me "lol" really hard. I really knew that SOME people would hold onto melee like an old grandpa holds onto his 1930's music, but seriously this is completely ridiculous that nearly the entire Kennesaw area decides to be a bunch of backwards geezers and hold onto melee. You have fun with your less music, less stages, terribly balanced players, lack of wi-fi, no stage making, less characters, worse graphics, and overall worse game just so you sore losers can continue to abuse your glitches to prevent you from the inevitable truth of being beaten by a noob that doesn't even own brawl because you are so used to spamming mindless tech skill and putting not even a second of a thought into any move you make. Have fun /rant /rant /rant /rant

(looks like everyone here is gonna hate me now, but it dosen't seem that it matters since NO ONE plays brawl here in this backwards state.... -_- GA ftw... )

And to me youre one of those **** whippersnappers listening to that god **** hiphop. Have fun with your campiness, game balance, and lack of tech skill, and speed.

And obvious that you dont know anything about high end playing. be as technical as you want, but notice you dont see Silent Wolf or one of those people EVER beating M2k or Pc or KDJ or whoever. So say what you want but you ahve to play smart in melee too. @_@

I don't think you can come up with one complaint that has NOTHING to do with player behavior >_>; Maybe speed, but other than that... Oh yes and game ballance and lack of techskill seem to be GOOD things to me.... just sayin... oh yeah and if you were a decent player you could easily beat someone who camps thus discouraging them to camp.

And you most likely could, but notice how NO WHERE did I say I was a good player? Did you think I implied that I was better than you? Well I didn't... that was just you having a testosterone moment. Me being good or bad at either game has nothing to do with brawl being a better game than melee... just sayin...

If you're gonna sit there and ***** about our decision to play Melee 99% of the time, go elsewhere 4leaf.

Edit: OH YEAH. And btw, Toxxy (Mars) can four stock you like a pro. No Chillin' Dudes, either.

To some people Melee is a better game. They like the speed of it, you can't bash them for that.

GPC kids play Brawl so I hear. There are also several others who play Brawl. You have to scope them out. Also, people live like 20 mins to an hour away from us. Talk to GildedPunch, he lives not even 10 mins from us.

brawl was designed with for people who are bad at games to be able to win
people who spend time being better at games don't like the idea of people who don't spend time getting better almost beating them

you never played good melee, you don't know a thing

brawl is "fun," melee is competition
