I think your talking about Super Mario Bros 2, because he was in Super Mario World 2

and the official Super Mario Bros 2 in Japan, Bowser WAS in.

The one here was called Doki Doki Panic, and no he wasn't in that. But that's not the game you said.

I really don't see how this has anything to do with Geno's chances or having the Mushroom icon. It doesn't matter and Bowser in no way affects Geno...other than when Bowser got in (Since he was more important) Geno fans got the chance to shout out for their character.

The point is Geno is second party character due to the loophole in the legal rights, hes unique and not a clone, he starts and only stars in Nintendo games despite not being an all star

anyway, geno was a main/playable character in SMRPG.
it makes sense for us to want him more than the axem rangers who, although were very cool, weren't as important to the story nor would work very well in brawl besides being an AT.

Then by that logic, Mario was never in Donkey Kong because he was known as Jumpman and not Mario back then. Bowser was in the original SMB, even if he wasn't officially named. SO were Goombs, Lakitu, Koopas, et.. According to Nintendo themselves, Bowser's first game was Super Mario Bros. in 1985.

We understand you might have forgotten that Bowser was the boss in SMW2, as everyone forgets stuff from old game sonc eina while, but the main thing is don't use it as evidence to suppor your argument if you aren't even sure it's correct.

If Sonic is a Mario character because he appeared in a game with him, then I guess Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Bowser are all Zelda characters because there is a picture of all of them in Ocarina of Time.

And no one ever thought Mario was Donkey Kong, and nor did he ever look like him. You're the only oneDK was always a big ape, Mario was the regular guy fighting DK.

Biggie Smalls posted once that PM would have a book instead of amushroom simply because its a spinoff/branch on Mario.

Yet if PM gets the mushroom it just shows its not self standing on its own like everyone thinks it is.

Same could be said about Geno but we won't know until hes on the dojo or if hes in the game.
