I always pronounced it Gee-no :/
That's how the english language works
after all... if there's a vowel followed by a consonant followed
by another vowel, the first Vowel is always pronounced with more... oomph?

It's only a slight difference in pronunciation...about emphasis or something like that

Of course this isn't a post saying "OMG SAMUS' PROJECTILES ARE WEAKER, GENO CONFIRMED!", just an idea. It'll be especially be emphasised with having both the Geno Whirl and the Geno Beam, as well has having perhaps the Geno Blast as a way of clearing close opponents.

#61-70: Its actually funny, the email Sakurai responds to actually was asking for Toad, but randomly interchanged Toad’s Japanese name with Pinochio’s Japanese name (he reversed the order of one symbol by accident several times). So Sakurai just made fun of him a little bit in this response.
