Apparently there are two polls going around, though I think the top one is correct...

As much as i'd love for the bottom one to be correct, i agree it is 99.9% chance that it's the top one, but not that one extra vote for Geno make much of a difference, Sakurai knows either way he's still highly requested.

Although considering that the other list came also from Nsider forums they tended to be quite pro-Geno if i remember correctly, which is cool, but if it come from that forum, it's deffinetly not completely accurate.

The bottom one was an entirely sperate poll right? So its actually not related. Its just statistics. Also I dont think Great Guy would make a good AT....he was a Magic user and they cant really throw enemy spells in there (like meteor storm and stuff), and as for Knife Guy....he could just throw knives....but would they allow that? Swords are one thing but just some clown going around and throwing knives seems reckless....I dont think theyd go for that lol.

I was very skeptical about that, cause it is music to my ears (eyes). We all know how Sakurai likes to try to keep things under wraps.

Snakz, I was referring as an alternate costume, but I can see if it seems kinda far fetched, but still kinda fun thinking about it. Sakurai is big on fan service, so we'd never know for sure. ;3

To anyone facing a "Geno is Long Range Only" arguement=

Been watching some videos on youtube to relive the glory days, and watching the Forest Maze segment where Geno is fighting Bowyer solo, Geno stops Bowyer from firing arrows by by giving him what appears to be a rising roundhouse uppercut (or something to that extent). Just saying that Geno has untapped close range potential.

A part of me says that he's in and another part is saying it would be awkward if he weren't, let's hope for that update guys.

Yeah when the day comes and his update is announced I would scream and pass out, if it doesn't happen then i would say, **** and get over it.

i liked a lot of the other enemies that WEREN'T affiliated with smithy. people like booster, dodo/valentina, knife guy/other guy, belome...

you must not think that "other guy" was very grate.


and as far as Booster, his tower would make an amazing stage.

Nah, because that would be a Bowser's Castle stage...and Bowser deserves a full level with traps and everything...


I have a feeling Ridley is goin to be revealed before Geno so we might have to wait....

It would be a killer stage, like the deck collapsing and then falling all the way to the bottom floor and having Sniffles shooting pellets at you.

But Geno's stage would need to capture the essence of Super Mario RPG. I think it would have to be something like Star Road or a mesh of different areas like Forest Maze transitioning into a spiraling ladder into Star Road, seeing familiar sights like a big beanstalk from Bean Valley ascending into Nimbus Land with Valentina flying after Booster on the airbus with Mallow cheering in the background, and then falling all the way back down to Forest Maze eventually after you reach the peak where you see star folk cheering you on and Stafy making a guest apperance.

I actually have a feeling it is Capt. Falcon. No seriously. It is like I know it is gonna be Capt. Falcon. I'll rub it in my own face if it isn't. Interesting note though today. I walk to the computer lab and had some very interesting conversations with the nerds there. They are pretty cool people if I do say so myself and lucky enough they even know who Geno is and the loved him in SMRPG. The don't know much about Brawl though. XP

I also wanna point out that in the Wiki page it says that I am from GameFAQ. I never been to GameFAQ before in my life. I dunno where whoever edited that got that idea from but could someone be so kind and fix it?

No chance of Captain Falcon or Sheik being the next character update (thats what I believe). I think they'll throw in their 12th new comer first so that way they have 12 veterans and 12 newcomers. Then maybe they'll work on the veterans again.

Ya know, thanks to that post, I had the scariest dream ever o_o

So I woke up for a little bit, but then drifted back to sleep...and it was after 12 when I woke up, so I ended up thinking about checking the update, but didn't...and in my dream I did. And there were all these pieces of art on the main page of F-Zero characters...and at the bottom of the update was the "new" Captain Falcon. Like...he was so scary looking and...and...yeah. I couldn't believe it. Luckily it wasn't true.

We might be getting a Fire Emblem character this week instead of Geno. Today's music update is not likely a coincidence, as Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn released in the Americas and Treehouse of NOA has some influence on blog updates. Though I wouldn't hold your breath every week for Geno to be posted on the DOJO!!. xD He seems like a character that would be an unlockable thus he'd be updated way later. Though I am 100% sure he's in Brawl so I'm not worried one bit.

Turns out Geno is the first ally in any RPG to make a second appearance (Bowser and Peach don't count cause of course they're a part of the game), other ones are Bow and Parakarry both from Paper Mario

Not exactly...I do know that there's a mian hub that's...well, it seems like an observatory that runs on star energy or something. Is neat. And there are a BUNCH of little characters that look like Twink or Geno (with a face), so...it could be! Heck, the easter egg could just have one of them randomly say to you, "Oh, hello. I'm ♪!?. I feel like we've met before..."
