Actually my point of all of that first post was that is was a collection of everything we'd done in the old thread. That was the stuff we'd always throw at n00bs and skeptics. We'd overwhelm them and convert them in one fell swoop.

I'm 100% for balance (one of the two real opinions I have in Brawl, the other is obvious), but the revenge against my Marth using sister with Melee is very tempting. She'd never know, as she only uses the "bishonen" characters.

I think that's a bit too much, but eh...
I see him being a mid-weight slower character like Link was in Melee, but a bit on the floaty side. Since Ridley's design seems to be largely bird-like I can see him having some really good fast attacks, but a little on the awkward and easy-to-miss side when it comes to his more powerful attacks.

Guys, I'm almost sure Ridley will be one of the last characters revealed, because Sakurai seems to like saving the best for last.

Well we would never do something as stupid as speak to Grim like that. But we might spell correctly and use punctuation from time to time.

I don't feel I really need to think long and hard on this, as I've pretty much always been aware of this thread (that includes the 1st post of it) being a sequel to a previous Ridley thread that got locked for spam which was around during the "good old days" and what not. Then came the club R.I.D.L.E.Y. thing, which most of the threads/activity on that exclusive message board was used to prepare for making this thread & its 1st post which you seem to have contributed a lot toward, and now that this thread's been made, the activity on the R.I.D.L.E.Y. board has pretty much died down ever since.

Well actually R.I.D.L.E.Y. was formed long before the original thread closed... well not that long but maybe a few thousand post earlier XD anyways the first post was made 89 % by Gypsy on his own and around 11% of it was in put from us which we gave from R.I.D.L.E.Y.

But R.I.D.L.E.Y. was very active actually up until sometime last month... I guess it was just all the new faces in the Ridley thread and some members leaving that brang it down...

I see this section of the 1st post still lacks Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. I kinda assumed after awhile that it was already added, but I guess I was wrong.

Well... if no one's going to add MP3 to that list and explain Ridley's role in it and what not, I guess I might as well sometime later... or is doing that already taken for someone else to do?

Well, i didn't know that Sakurai said that he's gonna reveal everything :D. But if someday, then tomorrow or next week :D. Coz in melee, he started updating unlockables etc. when the game got released. I thought he was gonna do the same, but this way it's better ^^

We can say "this update sucks" but what would you do in his shoes(and how you you feel if you updated the site for them and heard that)? Give all the good updates in the beggining? That would ruin the game! He has to give crap updates, especialy with all the days he has to fill. The music part was ok, but did we realy need the re-release of metaknights moveset?

I actualy dont expect Ridley till later on, it just doesnt feel like his time to strike yet...

Meta Ridley appeared in Metroid Prime and will also play a role in the upcoming Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, in which he is believed to have acquired 'phazon' powers. Meta Ridley is not to be confused with Mecha Ridley. Meta Ridley is the actual Ridley that was defeated in the first Metroid, however, he was "resurrected" by the Space Pirates. Many of his body parts were replaced by robotic parts and he was fitted with weapons. Alot of people want to see this version of Ridley as at least an alternate costume because he looks like a torn up, metal badass. And I completely agree.

Mecha Ridley

This is Mecha Ridley, or Robo Ridley (usually Mecha Ridley because Robo Ridley sounds like a really lame anime character). He/it is actually a robot. It was the final boss in Metroid: Zero Mission.

Ridley X

Ridley X is Ridley, or a 'clone' of Ridley, that has been infected by the parasite, X. In Metroid: Fusion, he had been frozen in a storage compartment. Towards the end of the game, his frozen body was infected by an X. He then mutated into this guy, who looks more like a dragon then the pterodactyl-esque normal Ridley.

I just noticed that this section of the 1st post needs more Omega Ridley.

Even though there's not an actual in-game sprite of Omega (nor does there seem to be a good fan-made sprite like of him there is of Meta, as shown in the above quote), could that one 3-D render or a good in-game (MP3) pic of Omega still be added to the above list as a costume? I think he should.

I thought that Sakurai was not using the Prime series for reference?
