Smash Master
ROB loses to Marth, in my opinion. A few of the good ROBs think that ROB has the advantage, but it seems like the ones who play good Marths think otherwise. Marth has too much pressure, so it's too difficult to actually get away and camp a good Marth.
ROB loses to DDD, because of the chain grab and easy up tilt kills. If ROB plays a really tight game, it's not so bad, but ROBs mistakes are really easily punishable. On the other hand, DDD is difficult to punish with anything good, and can pressure you just by running at you and shielding.
ROB loses to G&W pretty badly according to most ROBs. I've never played any of the good G&Ws, but I've never found the match-up too bad. I think ROB needs to be more aggressive than most ROBs out there play. Definitely in G&W's favor, but I don't think it's as bad as most ROBs think.
ROB gets ***** by Metaknight. Undoubtedly his hardest matchup. Nothing much to say other than Meta is ********.
ROB beats snake because of edgeguarding, pressure, and lasers blow up grenades.
ROB beats Falco, in my opinion. Bair goes through Falco's forward b, and kills him really easily. Pressuring Falco is relatively easy, and Falco has a hard time killing ROB because he's nearly ungimpable. Another match where ROB needs to be aggressive. Also, ROB isn't chaingrabbed for that long.
I have no idea about Kirby.
I think ROB beats Lucario due to pressure.
ROB also beats DK, Olimar, Ike, ZS, and most everyone below Marth.
ROB has several bad match-ups, but he also beats a good amount of characters. Having ROB as a secondary is better than having Marth as a secondary, in my opinion. It just seems to me that Marth has match-ups similar to Metaknight, but just worse.
Unless Metaknight is banned, the tier list should probably be influenced a lot around who is a good secondary behind Metaknight. Or, if you refuse to play Meta, who you can play other than one of the few characters that does alright against Meta. Marth seems to fall into the second category better than the first.
If you can't tell, I think Metaknight is gay. I'm also trying to main him now.
