I've been debating on picking up Melee again though. Haven't played it in ages, and I'm not sure who all plays Brawl here. I guess it couldn't hurt playing both.

Thunderforce 6!! Thunderforce is one of my fave shooter series and Thunderforce 5 is probably my second fave shooter ever. I comes out October 30th in Japan. But I'm not sure if it's coming to the US.

I think you should main someone bro. Focusing all of your creative and technical ability on one character is definately helpful. It's what takes people to the top bro. If you still wanna play everyone, then just take them one at a time, not all at once.

When I did main, I switch from Sheik to Marth to Falco to Luigi to Fox to Falco to Captain Falcon to Sheik to Peach to Marth then back to Peach, all within a 4 month period. That's why I don't main. I couldn't find any character(s) that I liked enough to stick with, so I eventually said I wouldn't main. I go in phases though. In May and beginning of June I played mostly Marth and Peach, mid-June to Aug I switched over to play more Fox and Falco. I was starting to play Sheik a little more when I'd gotten grounded.

But the thing I noticed is that when people say "I don't have a main", that usually translates into "I play Fox, Falco, Marth and Sheik to a competent degree". Which makes sense, since they're pretty much the only characters that seem to matter nowadays anyways. MY top tiers suck balls, but then again I spent my time learning how to play IC and Mewtwo in such a flashy, rather than effective, way. Yay for cool-looking, but situational, combos!
