Ok, I'm usually stuck practicing with...ugh... lvl 9s (my brother is a bronly, A.K.A. Brawl only and he hates Melee... sigh...) so I'm all for this upcoming weekend.

Oh yeah, anyone know where I can get a copy of Smash 64? That game is too good.

if you do end up coming to greensboro, there's this used book store that sells used video games too. they have multiple copies of smash 64, even a complete one in the box.

Also, ICs don't expect to be grabbed. If you throw the Climber right away, it totally messes with the players head and catches them off guard. Can't spam grabs though, have to be smart about it.

Depends on the game and situation. Players like adam grab me alot because I tend to turtle up alot. In melee, there isn't much I can do outta shield aside from usmash(situational), grab(never works), or perform an aerial. i'd add more but the psp's text thing is running out.

Anyway, I was just wonderin since I went and played them yesterday. They play Brawl and Melee, and are very good at both. Munkey wasn't there, so I didn't learn much about the tournament that they wanna host (it'll probably be Brawl only though). Brandon has a nasty Falco, and Dereck has a pretty sweet DDD.

NC talent is hiding everywhere lol.

Hey Ali, do you remember Bandon and Dereck? They talked about you too. They said you quit coming to see them after you got your apartment. I did hear that you played against them right after Jubilee though...very interesting stories...

It's good to hear those guys are still playing. I haven't seen either of them in ages, though I did play Brandon (Adams) in Brawl online when it first came out a whole bunch.

Yeah, Brandon has the nastiest Brawl Falco in NC, no joke. Lasers and feet were everywhere. Dereck had a mad good DDD too, I couldn't kill him for anything under 200% most of the time (probably matchup inexperience, but whatever). They say they're gonna start practicing hard for their tournament too, so it should be fun to see how good they are in a couple months.

I know, it was pretty hot stuff. I was amazed at that.
