Summary of the achievements of the day: acquired a shirt. Also got super drunk, tired and exhausted.
Stupid concerts... was really fun though. Krampus and Trollfest turned out to be a lot of fun to experience live, Varg were decent enough as expected, Korpiklaani were amazing as always, Wintersun lost a lot of points in my book by taking 30 minutes to get their stuff set up after Korpiklaani left the stage, but delivered a pretty good show anyways... :D
Should really go to bed, but might still watch some anime before that because I'm stupid.

I swear the percentage of people who like Anime or other fluffy, cute stuff in general is actually higher among the metallers... I wore one of my little pony shirt for the lulz, and right after entering the venue the first people happily greeted me and requested a bro-hoof ... And in general nobody even knows what's up with the pony on the shirt, stupid people :D

I support anything that is against stupid social norms so for example, even though I don't personally like MLP I support those who do

the driver died. I think all were hospitalized for some time or another

yeah i read this big article about what the lead singer had to go through. his whole left arm was broken and he had to get surgery to fix it. they are going to make a full recovery and be able to play again.

I saw an interview with baizley. I was amazed about how optimistic he was about the future. It was awesome.

Calling it right now, album of the year goes to Ihsahn. Earlier this year I would've said Diablo Swing Orchestra or Sigh, but I think this is it.

This is pretty neat. The intro and sax solo bit was way cooler than the rest of the song. Guitar solo is okay but kinda unnecessary. Kinda losing interest after that. Seems like something that I'd have to hear the whole album at once to really judge properly.

anyways, Rolo did not disappoint. Astraea is probably their most consistent release so far. It's not as weird and mathy as I was hoping but it's got passion and powerful songwriting that's what counts.

I'll admit, I do go to pitchfork sometimes to check out the newer music list thing, but I don't care AT ALL for the reviews, or the ratings they give. Rate Your Music is primarily the place I check out tho.
