luigi doesn't beat diddy the matchups actually really bad if the diddy knows it and camps really hard
try approaching a top diddy kong (who also is a top luigi) when they're camping you
it's discouraging
i also played ESAM in friendlies, and he just sat there crouched saying come at me bro and proceeding to tell me that luigi is a bad character because he can't approach at all, and then he stopped camping me and i killed him near instantly, and he said **** THAT IM GOING BACK TO CAMPING

Indeed. Once someone figures out how to fight Luigi, it's discouraging. I've pretty much dropped him due to how frustrating it is just to not be able to land a hit.
Nickriddle jokes about it, but he's right. To beat Luigi....you just walk away. Camp him correctly and he can't do anything

L. I'd say try not approaching on characters that aren't Falco or Snake. It worked for Peach last time I tried it...Fixed for accuracy
