A Button repeatedly (Close Combat)
-Lucario sends a fast barrage of punches at the foe. This can be annoying if you are against him as you can get trapped in the attack (akin to Kirby's Vulcan Jab)
DAMAGE: 5%
(And I meant it's related to Kirby's Vulcan Jab)

A Button while dashing (Extremespeed)
-Similar to Fox's Fox Illusion, Lucario strikes the foe with superspeed.
DAMAGE: 8%

SMASHES:
A Button + Left or Right (Jump Kick)
-Pretty self-explanatory. Lucario stikes the foe with his foot.
DAMAGE: 16%

A Button + Up (Knock Off)
-Lucario slaps the foe into the air with a paw.
DAMAGE: 9%

A Button + Down (Slam)
-Same as Knock Off, Lucario slams the foe with his paw

AIR MOVES:
A Button (Rapid Spin)
-Lucario spins briefly in midair trapping anyone that touches him.
DAMAGE: 5%-15%

A Button + Left (Drill Kick)
-Lucario hits the foe with a kick that drills into them.
DAMAGE: 4%-10%

A Button + Right (Smashing Kick)
-A powerful kick attack, Lucario smashes the enemy backward with a kick.
DAMAGE: 10%

A Button + Down (Aura Dive)
-Lucario fires down at the foe covered in a blue mist
DAMAGE: 10%-15%

SPECIAL ATTACKS:
B Button (Aura Sphere)
-Similar to Samus' Charge Shot and Mewtwo's Shadow Ball. Lucario charges a ball of aura. Once it fully charges, Lucario's fist will glow (like Mewtwo, but only blue instead of purple).
DAMAGE: -15%-20% depending on charge.
Good, you changed it. It's now balanced!

B Button + Left or Right (Metal Claw)
-Lucario slashes with a metallic claw.
DAMAGE: 10%

B Button + Up (Sky Uppercut)
-Strikes the foe into the sky. A pretty useful knock out move. Lucario also jumps into the sky for his move (similiar to Roy's Blazer and Marth's Dolphin Slash)
DAMAGE: 15%

______

How's that?
Good you fixed it. Some of the damages are fairly high but it doesn't irk me as much as it did before. I like this moveset.

Well, inevitably that is locked now seeing as this thread is far better and in-depth than your's, Joka (no offence, though).

This thread is falling, something Lucario doesn't do, keep the thread from falling through pages and post in it more often, support the by far most worthy Pokémon to be a Newcomer in Brawl.

I'm a relativley new Lucario fan, having taken a long break from pokemon... I only recently got in Diamond and Lucario has risen through the ranks to become one of my all time favorites. If he was in Brawl, I would be a very happy Darkfur.

props to joka for the lucario moveset. thats what i would expect in the game.
Agreed, you have a good moveset for Lucario, and considering that some attacks in Melee could deal around 25% damage, so the damage dealt by the moves in that moveset definitely aren't too high, in my opinion.

Very true, and it's shape is very humanoid, and can talk (telepathically, like Mewtwo), and has starred in a movie (also like Mewtwo).

Also it's size is suitable, and Steel/Fighting type combination sounds pretty ideal for Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Yeah, Lucario isn't THAT strong in the game. He is still good though. I think it's just the fact that Fighting and Steel types are both overrated. =P

All that means is you have found one more person who shares your delusion. With as many members this board has, it was bound to happen.

You are still in the minority.

Jigglypuff is obviously not Smash material since it's weak to fighting moves.

( Sarcasm, by the way. Pray tell me why strength should be a factor in getting a Brawl spot. )

So? What's your point? All pokemon have a weakness that can be exploited (yes, even Darkrai, though it's a bit harder to exploit than most), it's not like Lucario is alone in that sense. And it's not something that'll be reflected in Brawl anyway, so it really has no bearing in this discussion.

Besides, Lucario was designed to dish out punishment, not take it.

No one is disagreeing with you. All pokemon have weaknesses. Even massive combo's like Water/Steel and Electric/Steel. Lucario Simply has his share. I am surprised you havent mentioned the fact that he's horribly weak to fighting moves. [Just like Jiggs]

I doubt that the hype comes from his strength in the game, much less his Fighting/Steel type.

As they do Mewtwo and any other favored pokemon. Face it, the reason they overhype him is because they like him. I'm one of the people who like him. As Pokefans and Pokemon collectors in the games say IIRC, when you focus enough on one pokemon you really begin to understand it's strengths and weaknesses, and this pulls you closer together.
