secondly:

i want to stop playing so many games and do more important things. im leaning towards music theory and making reggae and dub. i was really pissed off last night about how i could have used all the time i put into melee, to get good at something that actually mattered. now im going with the 'it's not to late and melee is fun' attitude. i'll probably never do anything, but it's just fun to be excited about something.

lastly:
i didnt quit brawl because of metaknight at all. while it was frustrating to play mks because i only play marth and i think while marth is a really good char, that particular match up isn't so hot, i only remember once MAYBE twice getting frustrated playing vaughn's mk. it was mostly because of his attitude about it: 'im going to pick mk and be as ghey as i can to show yall how stupid top tiers are.' in general, i just dont like the slow speed and lack of combos. the fact that it's not technical doesnt really bother me. i think both games require the same about of real skill, i just think melee takes a little more practice. it's like, at the peak level of play in melee, tech skill shouldn't even be factored into who wins. the best melee players will be generally perfect in their tech skill, and the smartest player will win, like in brawl (excluding char match ups but that is different). like i said, game speed and combos made the difference. if they had made brawl with auto l cancels and x as the wave dash button, i would have still loved it. brawl lacks the reasons i started playing melee so i dont like to play it. i truly believe though that at a peak level of play, both games require equilivent amounts of skill; which is why, lee is still the best. and in (literally) 2 days of playing i got like second or 3rd in a la tourney.

p.s. i was messing around with sf: 3rd strike for a while in anticipation for sf:4 but with my new pledges to have more important hobbies and everyone moving out of this house so i wont have an xbox to play on, idk how much i'll be playing. im not quitting games or anything, i just don't want it to be my main hobby.

end (too good. i hope freddy loses his money matches lol. just because it will be funny, not that i dont like freddy or anything.)

edit:: it's snowing like balls outside. freddy just snowballed me in louisiana. is that like getting 4 stocked? this is the time for remembering events. who remembers when i almost 3 stocked john's marth with DK at dibbs. i beat kyle so john starts talking shy like 'dk too easy' so we play and i pwn him so bad the first 3 stocks. the crowd was going nuts. combo to dk punch. he ended up barely winning and it suked, but the match was pretty legendary.

I think everywhere but LSU has closed. Instead, they sent us a message confirming that they'll remain open until further notice. The best part is that I'm here and don't even have an exam today, haha.

as for getting kicked out of TC there was no real reason other than i drank 4 beers, i probly looked suspicious for some reason...i was just playing tables lost like 40 bucks.....it was like 12:30 AM this guy takes me over and is like get ur chips and lets go, I constatly asked what I did wrong his response was "you dont get an explanation, its leave or get arrested (keep in mind I got carded like 3 times before) so they escorted me out i went out drank even more considered leaving home...I was in a rage.... i went over too dibz out of my mind played some street fighter 3 with some black dude who is pro @ it and is joining the air force....we talked for a while and it calmed me down....on the way home my I got pulled over, they new I was drunk but made my parents come get me i got ticketed for a head light being out...I unleashed hell on my parents punching walls telling how theyre messing up my life, how everything thats happened isnt fair..... (still i did get that girls number who supposedly have a date with saturday) .........

also the snow wtf

ShyG, that sounds pretty messed up. Only thing I can think of is that they think you were underage.

My school (Xavier) was open and I had a final today, pretty ghey cuz when I tried to leave my car was covered in snow and I almost died on the way home. I'm from Florida, snow sux.

Smashfest at Dibbz tomorrow sounds fun. I'll bring my Wii and my roomies gonna be at work so I won't be attached to left 4 dead til he gets off.

I need that Wii hack too so I can play my copy of TvC, can't wait to play it. Fist of he North Star = win even though I've only seen about 10 episodes scattered about.

Correction: Bartender is the best anime when you take Fist of the North Star out of the equation. Ken is like the the Chuck Norris of Animu. Ryuu is like the...really god**** good bartender of animu.

Chii is the most ridiculously cute animal of Animu.

Edit; I want Tatsunoko vs Capcom sooo bad. I'd use Rockman Volnutt/Joe, simply because I'm most familiar with them.

Guh, looks so good, though.

Ill try and make it to a dibbzfest tomorrow. That sounds fun. As for snow, it ****ing pwned. At 10 minute break my WHOLE school went outside and had a giant snowball fight like in the movies.

Imma keep it real and go with the Mega Man/Casshern or Joe. Peep that new Casshern if you haven't and the live actually movie was pretty decent IMO. Never saw the old show. I haven't played it yet but I don't see myself without Mega Man...EVER!

Here's the game's intro. Really well animated. And just as awesome.
Seems like Capcom knows how to make a crossover game. Style ALWAYS trumps substance.
Someone should have told the creators of MKvsDC. That story was ****.

Also, still need to watch Karas. It's available in the states.

Also, TvC has the best music.

It even snowed in New Orleans. I still have a little snow left on my car. Lol. I'm going to go to the Dibbzfest tomorrow -after- work. I get off at 9pm, so I'll go home/change, and get there for probably 9:30. I'll bring an extra Wii / TV? Maybe.

Man, all you guys are like omg snow is amazing, this weather is great, etc, but when I walked outside my first reaction was more along the lines of "omg it's so cold my nuts are gonna fall off" and snow hardly even entered into the equation.

So, I just finished with the last bit of homework I have left for the semester. Go me. At (I would guess) sometime around 8:00-9:00 tonight I'll have finished with my last class too. At that point, I'm going to want to play melee. Lots, and lots of melee. Anyone else want to do such a thing?
