An out of shield player??? (trolololol)unless some OOS players came i dont think anyone would enter. we've been lucky with both the summercon and wintercon to have some oos players attend.
Just for the record, we haven't had a "smashcon venue fee" for local events in forever, only winter and summercon have the venue fee. Voodoo Smash has never had a venue fee, and it never will. If I raised the price of entering melee to $10, the total amount of money melee players would pay for the event total is $10 (assuming melee is the only event they enter). I'd like to get some more input from the other melee players before I make my final decision. Just to be clear, I'm only asking if it's ok to raise the price of entering melee to $10 because I wanted to see how many of you melee players wanted to compete for more money. This is also going to be the last Voodoo Smash until Smash 4 comes out, so I'd like to try and make this the biggest one yet.trust me i would go. tim and freddy would go. but you're turning a 6-10 man monthly into a 3 man tournament. smashcon and the shrimp are a little different. i think we could get away with 10$ tournaments 3 times a year. but even then you're going to lose a few players. the community is poor. they dont want to play money to lose to the same players they lose to all the time. and with smashcon's venue fee, you'd be asking 20$ just to enter melee singles if you raised the price of the actual tournament. unless some OOS players came i dont think anyone would enter. we've been lucky with both the summercon and wintercon to have some oos players attend.
Ok, just making sure.when i say "smashcon" i mean winter and summer cons. i know other things are under the smashcon name, but thats what i was referring to. by all means do what ever you want, i seriously doubt anyone would prefer it.
Hell yeah, I got u on dat rematch. How much? $5? $10? $20??? Also, I'm like the worst black guy you'll ever meet at basketball so no lol. Tho I will be wearing my Lebrons. Also: Brawlman; MM at Who's Tyler? Character locked, Pika vs. Sonic. Remach. Get hype. Let's go. After that, 1 on 1, at the court, bring your Lebrons, I'll bring my Jordans. Get hype. Let's go. I've improved a lot since Smashcon >![]()
Thats too bad, I have a crew of 4 in Monroe who plays every smash but Brawl....Yea Yeah. We had some good sets today.
Uh, I'm pretty sure we're the Keystone State.Welcome to the Flake State, Ramsaur.
Glad to here you got it worked out.Getting kind of agitated here guys. That would be a really ***** move if the ride I got denied the ride I was offered because nobody would answer their phones. Look, all I need to know is where Taylor lives and when y'all are leaving. I am seriously about to start blowing up phones here.
Got it all worked out. We good now.
Ok, so who is going to Get Hype and who is going to Curlz's tourney at the Laffy PlayNTrade? I'm currently leaning towards going to Laffy but haven't fully decided, seeing as I can't find any info on Curlz's tourney. Also, I really can't tell which has the potential for more entrants...
ChKn, I remember you posting earlier about a gaming club at UL, are you going to Curlz's tourney and getting some of those people to go too?
Let it be known: If I do end up going to the Laffy PnT tourney, I am willing to pick up some BR people along the way, and if enough people ask for a ride, that'll basically confirm me for Laffy.
