I think for Smash it would have to be in 3D. The 2D style probably wouldn't work for a Smash trailer, especially if there's another Smash character involved.
I treat all leaks as fake, but it could have been they just haven't implemented that feature yet or don't want to give it away.
The growth rate has been pretty insane.
I'll be honest, It's a very, very odd thing to highlight. It's old information so I don't understand why it was brought up in the first place.
Little Mac and Palutena’s trailers are both in their distinctive art style and have them as the first character shown.I could very well see that happening in October, and we totally need a Diamond City stage! Complete it with various other WarioWare characters hanging out in the background like in the Animal crossing stages~
That being said I'm still hanging on to hope that there's going to be some kind of reveal this Evo weekend..
Great idea, but if it was in the new style of WarioWare, it would give the reveal away much too soon, and Sakurai just enjoys surprising people too much to that!
Echoes aren't alts. Alph is an alt. Lucina is an Echo.
Because the leak specifically saids all characters will get 16 alts by this I don't think that's happening anytime soon.
This. With how secretive Sakurai is trying to be, I'm almost 100% sure that anyone who actually knows anything would be Japanese to begin with.
I could see the start of the Ashley trailer in Game and Wario Style and then transitions into 3d after Ashley transports into Smash Brothers via her magic book.
I'm talking specifically for the E3 video. I feel that it's weird as hell to highlight it in a segment that was 99% changes or reintroducing veterans that weren't in WiiU/3DS. Rereading my post, I see that I wasn't exactly clear enough.

I'd like to see it in 3D as soon as possible! I'm very eager to see how they treat Ashley's 3D model for Ultimate- I hope they use her new model from the Pumpkin Panic minigame~
Yes and I remember catching on that it was little mac that was going to be revealed right away before he was even shown. I didn't know with Palutena's though. All I was thinking about was what if Smash became an anime!?!?

That would mean two colours for each of Bowser’s children as well... I’m not really feeling it.

Bowser Jr is almost identical to Baby Bowser.
Given echo fighters have the exact same movesets and are of similar build... what would Ashley even look and act like in this universe?!
Fortunately, it's somewhat obscured. (Incidentally all the cutscenes in Mega Party Games feel like an acid trip).

You know what, while she obviously wouldn't work as an Echo I could see the basic functionality of Wario's specials working with Ashley.
I'd say that Ashley would be more likely to be an echo of Rosalina and Luma or Ice Climbers, but I think she's more likely as a completely new character.
