The Link Board's Tier List.

Apparently, Ray Kalm was granted the permission to carry on the the Ganon Boards Tier List. He went through a lot to get it back, I heard. He now has the permission to carry out these kinds of threads, I guess.

That being said, Ray Kalm has approached me with a proposal that he open the Link Boards Tier List for us here on the boards, seeing as he has earned the right to do so from the moderators. I won't be in any control over the list anymore, so I'm handing the control of the Link Boards Tier List in the capable hands of Ray Kalm. I would like to keep track of the list personally, but quite frankly, I have no idea what Ray Kalm might have done to persuade the moderators. If you want the usual moving of place or awards, Ray Kalm is the guy to contact, he'll be supervising the list from here on out.

Hope he'll carry out the tier list soon, the boards aren't as lively anymore. :\

NintenJoe, Blu Link and Wafflez came up with an idea. To rank all of us based on our skill shown in videos, knowledge and such. This is just a rough approximation and it's for fun. It's for the better known Link mains so if you wanna be on here, get some videos up!

Do not take this list super seriously. This list is FOR FUN.
If you do not post regularly or do not have videos, you may be lower on the list because of that.

The criteria for the list is as follows:
1. Tourney placings
2. Videos and skill
3. Knowledge of Link/Contribution to the Link boards

so will those still count or do i have to have offline matches?

Admittedly I think I should be higher (alongside Sasook) but its been a long time since I've played him, so I don't know if he's improved or not either.

What's the difference between Most Favorite colors and most Dominant colors? Underdog color? Most artistic?

Legan has awesome DI too. I noticed it while playing him first hand and we've seen a lot of videos where people were like "Omg just die" including the Overswarm one.

Should Most Talented at Wi-Fi be whoever is leading in the King of Wi-Fi topic? Might make people participate in it more. First second and third in that category maybe for that particular topic?

Green color is now most used color on the list with 9 people chosing to main Green...then 8 people chosing Blue.
Least used color is Red.

The age of bomb sliding is approaching. More and more people are picking it up.

I predict there will be a war soon between the Jump cancel throw people and the Bomb slide people.
Only 1 spam game will survive and prove better than the other. I'm interested to see what happens.

Using both JCT and bombsliding together seems like the best strategy. In the end it's about mixing it up and those two ATs add a lot to your bomb game.

Personally, I think my place on the list is fine for now; I don't have any recent vids or tourney results to justify a higher placing. If anyone wants to debate my position (too high or low), I don't mind.

I guess I should put some videos up, I won recently a MM against the best player in my country (a ROB) with Link, very close games but 2-0. They weren't recorded though. I have beat him before but only with Falco so Im really proud about it. Maybe I can get some friendlies recorded soon (no tournies for a while).

You were already below Arkivezero. Unless you're talking about moving Izaw. If so, I just begun to edit the list.

Anonano, Ritch, Shin, and Princz, I moved all of you up a notch. Xlblisx and Qerk were both added to the list.

Swordplay, are you sure you really don't want to move up? You were quite good in those matches we played.

Edit: @Fear.7: Yeah, I thought giving the rankings better names would be nice. The number "7" originates from the Legend of Zelda games, of course.

Good to see Legan back next to Arkive. I played him recently, and even though it was just lolwifi (resulting in some luck for me!) he's as sharp as evar, my good Kalm. Besides, he placed 17th I believe at the recent Tourne he and Arkive went to.

Hmmm... putting Arkive above Legan I think was because of the Link dittos they had at the time (which Arkieve won) Link dittos dont prove exactly whos better at Link overall but Arkive placed better at that tourney so it was justified.

The most recent tourny they both attended though, had Legan placing better than Arkive so maybe you need to update accordingly. Placing Izaw had always been tricky because of his area (like me), but placing him above Legan is just bias atm, that is something you wont need to struggle with come July (b/c of Genesis) so maybe you should wait till then to see their placements better.
