I somewhat dislike when people start talking about playing to learn instead of playing to win. I suppose above isn't wrong as such, I just don't think it is even necessary to use that line. Like, cut off "so long as you force yourself to play to learn rather than to win" and the post would still say the exact same thing - you can practice your techcasing with fox just fine.
Playing to learn isn't even the opposite of playing to win like many people seem to think (and start goofing around in friendlies and use the "I don't play to win in friendlies" - my theory is, because they DO care about the outcome of friendlies, they purposely invalidate them entirely). When you experiment with stuff and go outside of your comfort zone, it doesn't mean you aren't or shouldn't be trying to win anymore.
You can ignore me, the phrase just bothers me and I think it's obvious that you should focus more on improving when playing friendlies. Though maybe it isn't since i've previously been asked why I do certain things and fail in friendlies (and still get those questions sometimes), but I always wrote that off as trolling (i'm so fortunate to be the player that "sucks" in my country...)
