Got my new controller and it feels great! I think my white controller must've been breaking down for a while because certain tech things just got a whole lot easier.
So anyway, Westminster smashfest on Saturday, who's in? Maybe some DQ9 as well (though it's brutally hard to tear myself away from playing P:M).

Only had to buy my 3DS for $100! :D (Saved up a bunch of Amazon credit hehe). Can't wait to get it this month!
As for which one, well tbh it depends on the team you want to set up. I only played through the Japanese White release (gonna be gettin Black in English). If you don't care for any of the exclusive Pokemon each version has then it probably doesn't matter which on you get.
Also, I'm shocked you're actually going to get it! :O

Eh I changed my mind actually. I'm gonna wait for Gray if I get it at all. I just felt like I should get it since I have no interest whatsoever in any of the 3DS launch titles.
I have enough RPGs to keep me occupied for now though. I have one ending left to get in Chrono Trigger DS, then I'm gonna play through Chrono Cross (since I've only played it once and I actually really enjoyed the battle system, just didn't care much for the story or the plethora of useless boring characters).
I also want to get all the Zenithia trilogy Dragon Quests, since they are now all out on DS. Speaking of which, Waffle, do you still have DQ5? If you don't want it anymore, I'll buy it off you.
Just gotta hold out till June/July when all the N64 remakes come out on 3DS.

Um, frankly yes. Not necessarily because I want them to be, but because youtube cuts the sound out of my videos when I use other music. There are never copyright issues with video game remixes.

And people (Bandit) need to stop hating on Cave Story music. Sometimes slow/happy music works just fine in a fighting game. Anyone remember the elevator music from MvC2? Or hell most of the music from SF2 wasn't really that fast paced either.

Ok, so I just got my copy of Pokemon Black, and I want to propose an interactive Legion game.
As you guys know, the only reason I went with Black over White (other than the fact QD wanted to get White and I prefered the technological aesthetics of Black over White's rural aethetics) was the cover legend. No, I like Zekrom MUCH more than Reshiram. But the potenital for hilarious nicknames was too good to pass up. Since I won't get to Reshiram for a good long time, I want you all to help me come up with the funniest nickname for him. It'll be like a choose your own adventure game...except with stupid nicknames. Here is the Pokemon in question:
So far my ideas are:
1. CockPoodle
2. Captain Codpiece
3. Lady Gaga
4. Big White **** Master
But if you have your own nickname suggestions, feel free to pitch them! The name with the most amount of votes by the time I battle Reshiram will hold the distinct honor of being the nickname for this powerful-yet-unfortunate-looking faux Dragon/Fire type.
