For anyone interested.
I am going to be hosting Brawl Smashfests every Thursday starting next week. It is mainly to give locals that live around me or anyone that would show up some practice and training for MLG Columbus.
The reason why I am doing these on Thursays, is because it doesn't conflict with other possible things going on and the Waldo Cooney's pizza place by my house has buy 1 pizza slice get 1 free on Thursdays, so I figured food would be affordable that day. I also have a Mc Donald's by my house for those that prefer burgers.
My info:
8536 South Kolin Avenue
Chicago, Illinois 60652
phone: 773-585-2619 (ask for Miguel)
Smashfests: Every Thursday
Time: 5pm - 10PM
(I figure 10PM is a good end time so people can head back home, if they have school or stuff like that, otherwise I have no problem playing until passed Midnight)
With that said, I am going to MLG Columbus, so who wants to carpool? I am driving and looking for people that want to go the entire weekend so I can get a full car to go. Still deciding on what car to take. If I take the car I can only fit 4 people in there comfortably including me. If I take the SUV I can fit about 7-8. I guess it depends on the interest that I get from people to see which one I will take. ^_^

Yeah I see. I'll look into it. Basically if i do get people interested I might get the SUV. The thing is I know people already are working other ride situations out and I am not sure how many from Illinois actually want to go. I am also buying my pass when registration opens up. I don't expect to do good, but it would be a very nice experience for me. ^_^

I could do some on Friday or Saturday when there is nothing going on if you like. I personally don't care but I figured since I did do Friday ones before and people did not show up I figured the same would if I keep them Friday. But hey, I am up for anything, just hit me up with what you think is best.
We'll see. it really depends on how full my car is by then and which one I am taking. I personally don't have a problem picking you up, but if my car is full I don't want to guarantee something I can't fulfill. So I will know more by the time it gets closer and by the time the passes go on sale and people start buying them to go to MLG.
