I have no idea what 8bit man was doing. He looked like he was trying to implement a gameplan without adjusting to what Mistake was actually doing. Questionable followups, too many rolls, even with good DI, he got rolled himself.

As for Charizard I think Flamethrower can be a great move vs Trick Shot if the each hit can flip the can. Since each flip of the can reduces the total amount of times Duck Hunt can shoot it.

I hope that the Diddy players vs Sinji did not Rocket Barrel into the Melon due to match-up inexperience. Twitch Chat and commentators popped off. Meanwhile I did a mental facepalm.

Btw, NAKAT is the current best Ness player even if he co-mains him alongside Fox. He brings out the most consistent results with Ness such as his EVO 2017 and Smash Factor runs, using him for the majority of those two tournaments. Gackt and S1 are good contenders if they travel more...

Even if Ryo loses to Larry, this tourney is still a good start to Ike in 2018.

Notable that this is far from the first time a high level Bayonetta player has been upset by a G&W in particular at a big tournament. Could very well be possible that his specific set of tools takes her out of her comfort zone to some extent. I certainly think so from my experience playing the MU myself, he has a pretty strong combo game on her (including out of grabs) and Usmash is quite effective at making sure they don't get too button pressy with things such as extended Nairs. I still think that Bayo has the upper hand but from both watching these high level sets and playing the matchup firsthand it's clear to me that he has a pretty solid fighting chance vs her.
