By all means you can. Any discussion is welcome.

We also didn't get a Luigi's Mansion 3 or Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX event yet whilst we're adding to the first party games that oddly haven't recieved one. That said, we did get an Age of Calamity one a few months after the game released, so I'm not ready to rule out us getting a Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury event later down the line.

Admittedly I don't know much about Dragalia Lost aside from it's pulling decent numbers considering it didn't really have a big name franchise attached to it, easily trouncing Dr. Mario World and Super Mario Run. Last I checked it was still behind Heroes, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp and Mario Kart Tour(in that order) but Euden's done surprisingly well.

I am surprised we haven't at least seen a spirit event for it if nothing else.

Thing is there’s barely any content from mobile games in smash. Just one song. Not even anything from Pokemon go and TPC were pushing it hard

I don't think Porky has anywhere near the same level of fan demand that made Banjo stand out to Nintendo.

Of course, but Banjo and Kazooie were third party characters that were owned by Microsoft. They didn't have to add them in but they did because the Banjo and Kazooie brand still had value.

Porky would make for an interesting fighter.

Do keep in mind that Banjo-Kazooie were more than likely byproducts of the five year negotiations to get Steve/Minecraft in Smash, which was probably always the real prize in Nintendo's eyes. They just also decided to get Banjo out of it, due to excessive fan demand and also Phil Spencer himself gunning for it.

True, there was also the Smash character ballot that worked in Banjo and Kazooie's favour.

Porky is an Earthbound character and Nintendo still clearly profits from the Earthbound brand. You're acting as if Earthbound character no longer have any monetary value.

Unless the echo fighters are going to be cheaper than the usual fighter's pass, I don't see this happening.

I made a Thought Experiment once what if Dragonball was made during Nes Times as a popular Nintendo Franchise

But i was Dumb and put it in Ultimate Disscusion (although i think Ignoranca Had a part in it because he said goku will never be in smash which i didnt even suggest in this Thread) Hmm i dont know if this would be an Interesting Theme

Also on a more related note if Bandana dee gets in should he have a regular Waddle Dee/Doo alt or not?

Well dark link was never really a character so it’s not the same. I just don’t think it’d feel right to have a waddle do without a beam attack.

I think if we're going to get a first party at this point it's gonna be a Pokemon, given the anniversary and the three new games coming out this year (Snap, D/P, and Legends). You know Nintendo would want to promote the games with a new Smash rep.

Who it would be is a good question, I suppose it depends on if Nintendo has a specific choice or if they'll just leave it to Sakurai to choose. Hoping on the latter since I imagine he'd come up with a really fun but recognizable choice.

My personal favorite choice is Dracovish from Sword/Shield. It's pretty popular among the fandom, it has a very unique design and it's battle style would focus around kicking and biting.

Garchomp is another hugely popular Pokemon in the fandom, and with D/P's remakes on the horizon it would be a nice promotion.

I'm just hoping it isn't anything safe like a Galar starter or Urshifu. I can't see Cinderace's fireball-kicking to be anything but awkward to use, and I can't see Urshifu as anything but Bear-Ryu or Bear-Ken.

I think for a pokemon now they'd do a tourney based on something else about the pokemon e.g. Decidueye could be all characters who have wings or wing moves
