Gallade is the one with Inner Focus, and I'm pretty sure Trace Gardevoir counters -1 Arcanine.

it doesn't, wish goes after the 2nd turn of being used, meaning gardevoir is already KO'd by the time wish goes to heal, which by that time, Arcanine can finish gardevoir off with extreme speed

I actually posted that gardevoir because i thought the arcanine was Flash Fire, but that was just me misreading it, since it isn't it gets 3hko'ed by Flare Blitz, even at -1.

You know, for whatever reaons, my mindset went from "Ahh so he used Scrappy Kangaskhan to counter Mismagius." to "I think I'll use a basic Ghost-type Pokemon then." almost immediately one after the other.
