qorl, i'm starving over here. Gimme some of that Child support so I can buy my food stampsDear Peaches,
Firstly, <3.
How are you? I am doing well. I'm off being an adult, being olde, working and all that. It's fun. I am a Home Health Nurse in DC, doing visits for folks not well enough to live completely alone, but not so bad that they need more care (nursing home), so they have a home health aide. I visit once a month, perform my nursing assessment, supervise the aid, and do lots of health teaching. I've found that school pays off, and my 5 years of Spanish have actually come back to help me, as a large portion (half?) of my clients are Spanish-speakers, and really appreciate the chance to talk and learn about their health, and what can be done to better their individual situation. Yeah, so I'm pretty sure I take care of the majority of the agency's Spanish-speaking clientele, how awesome a responsibility is that? (And people talk about me and say nice things about me to other people, and I find out through the grapevine, extra awesome!)
My "transition" stuff is going great.I would like to thank my Peaches for giving me emotional support when I used the women's bathroom for the first time at ####. This is really special, because it helps mark a pivotal point in my life where I did what I thought was right, doing what I felt I should do, and is included on my letter that I received from my therapist (everyone who wanted to go on Hormone Replacement Therapy until just recently required therapy.) This letter helps me obtain a court order to change my name and gender marker on all of my papers and all in all make my life easier (not that it's hard or that I've encountered anything funny.) Y'all helped me with that, so thank you.
I've since finished therapy (result: I'm completely sane and have the support of licensed staff to live how I want to), been on hormone replacement therapy for +5 months (best decision I've ever made in my entire life), and have been working in my profession (registered nurse) as a woman, with no issues and no questions, nothing less than kindness and support, since July. I also had my first laser hair removal session on the first of this month (one of many), which was painful, yet gratifying at the same time. My life is crazy and wonderful.
How are you? I hope you're doing well.
Love,
White-Peach / Nicholas / Nichole

P.S.: I'm not namestealing Nicole, I'm just changing over my name, and keeping my H. I like it.
P.P.S.: I'm getting fat. (In all the right places, yay!)
Gurl I'm glad your doing ok and made quite the choice. That's very brave of you. Don't be a stranger. You one of the smash players I love the most. I'm certain that that pound was the best I've ever been to. We must eat somewhere again someday. Without the strawberry you skank! <3 <3Dear Peaches,

The first time I read this thread's title I thought it was talking about Air's love life.

I'm probably just as weak as you lol. Id turn into that sexy black if I worked out. I lack motivation hardcore...Lawl, that workout day. I was so weak at everything. Such a novice.
I'm making slight progress, though.
Everytime I think about attending another smash tournament, I feel bad about how old I am. ; ;Don't be a stranger. You one of the smash players I love the most. I'm certain that that pound was the best I've ever been to. We must eat somewhere again someday. Without the strawberry you skank! <3 <3
I WANT to exercise as a I go through these changes, it just makes everything better... but the work days absolutely wipe me out. I just want to come home, eat, and sleep. It's 7pm and I want to sleep until I have to get up the next day, I'm soooo tired.Don't de-prioritize fitness though.![]()
