It's better to have a lot of resistances than no weaknesses. Also, grass is the best type

Ghost/Dark is nice because it has no weaknesses, but it also only nulls Psychic, Fighting, and Normal.

Dragon/Steel with Levitate would be pretty boss, resisting Bug, Dark, Flying, Ghost, Grass, Normal, Psychic, Rock, Steel, Electric, and Water; and only taking normal damage from Fire, Dragon, and Ice, and getting 2x'd by Fighting.

Well if someone uses Foresight, then Ghost/Dark is weak to Fighting, but that's it.

The Spiritomb I used back then had Pain Split as a handy tool. Helped when people sicked Chansey/Blissey on me. I still has other counters for those as well as precautions since I always tend to run into those 2 pokemon in particular in nearly every battle I've played...
