He's not literally talking about the entire race. Not even a majority of the race. Lots of people enjoy reading books. So we don't know why you take this as an insult.

I'm speaking in the general popular culture. Obviously not all Americans are like that, but that's the way that many industries are set up and that's how they work and succeed. This particular is obviously just an extreme one, one from which these stereotypes are born.

I'm willing to bet that there are more people here who don't enjoy reading books, are closer to that spoon-feed mindset, than those that enjoy reading a book and finding meanings and so forth.

How hard is MTG to pick up!

Good job! Hopefully you get 1st next time ^^

It's not hard... It just has SOO MANY ****ING LITTLE DETAILS you need to remember. They're all important...

If you have questions about it feel free to ask me.

:peach:

Oh, and I didn't expect to get first, but actually came pretty close. It was kinda cool since I'm not a regular when it comes to the tourneys.

I got first in a yugioh tourney like 3 weeks ago. Felt pretty good :)
I remember talking to a friend who's a Yu-Gi-Oh judge; didn't they ban monster reborn and some other stuff ;x; takes away from the nostalgia for me :(.

Well it seems like you're doing well; perhaps you should enter more often? :)

Moster reborn has been back for like 6 months now. The new band list comes out in like 2 to 3 weeks from now.

I have 2 Yu-Gi-Oh decks, but they just sit there because I almost never play.

One is a burn based off of Fire Princess and White Magician Pikiru with Heart of Clear Waters and Mist Bodys.

The other is a VERY broken Plant deck.

Other than that, I play Magic a lot. You should try it, Kyon!! <3

Meh even if we didnt organize a raid like intended at least people noticed and went "wtf?" for awhile. I'll keep snivy for awhile until I find a suitable charmander avi again. People draw charmander well so infrequently for whatever reason :glare:

I would like to know what OOS options are best to use against each character. Though Peach has many there are some that are more effective against some and others that can be punished better cause of the tools your opponent has. Rather me making a thread on it I just wanted to ask here or is there a better place it can actually be discussed? Or has it already been done somewhere that I haven't seen yet.

I'll get into a fight everyday if I live there

There is alot of things to keep in mind when you decide this.

- distance
- spacing
- Nearly the ledge
- Back turned
- Facing opponent
- Turnip in hand
- Shield stun or the attack on shield.
- Invic frames on opponents moves (Like meta/Marth up-B)

i should prolly get into or at least learn MTG since the entirity of the gaming club at my college save for me plays the game.

also for the OOS punishing thing i guess one thing to assume would be they space the moves as best as possible, cause trying to punish the same move with a punish that only works with malspacing is not a good thing.
