Ok, apparently Hazama got some throw buffs, but he still doesn't appear to have a launcher, and no real BnB.

HIS THROW NOW DOES 1800 THOUGH. O_O

I think it means FC no matter what, even during a combo, just like with Rachel's lvl 3 j.2C. This will be probably mean extremely huge **** after Gigantic Tager --> Sledge... maybe it'll combo into 6A, 2C, Atomic Collider ****. Ooh, I just love the possibilities.

Still ********. I don't want Blazblue: Slash. /ignorant

Edit: @SB Stream: AMERICA LAND OF NO COMBOS

214D~C still launches, but I don't know if you can follow it up adequately. The main problem is it's still slow and obvious, and 3C is no longer a setup for it.

Preeeeeetty much. Like the only follow-up that they've found off of 3C is 214D~B (his DP), but you can't follow THAT up, so he's got nowhere to go from it.

Also, new Hazama avatar! :3

Man my Haku-man finally lost earlier today.

It was a sad day for the man in red armor.

It really had to happen sometime though.

If people are reading my posts in Hazama's voice, times are good. xD

Makes trolling that much more effective.

People who know me IRL probably won't read it like that though.

Do other people read posts of people they know in that person's voice, or am I just weird like that?

HAHAHAHAHAH!

That is excellent.

You've made my day.

Also, PS3 update has new unlockable character on the bottom right of the character select screen?

Is it Val?

There's no space at the top of the screen.

Platinum will probably go between Valk and Makoto.

edit: lol ninja'd
Oh. Never mind. XD

Man, I miss my arcade stick, but I don't have time today to open it up and fix it. :(

Edit: I fixed my stick! The end of the cord that connected the stick to the board was a little bit pulled out, but I fixed it! ^_^

I'm talking about the pronged thing on the stick, btw. It's the one that you have to connect to something.

Still in the process of soul searching. Tried Rachel a little bit in the challenge mode, and despite her crap damage, I think she's my type. Maybe I just prefer for more strategic characters.

Yeah, Rachel's fun. Her damage sucks but she has good okis, imo

Useful tip: Usually when you go for corner combos, go for the oki rather than just damage. I usually do 5B, 5D 5CC, 214A and then dash in and do 3C (3 hits) 236A. Then do her 5CC to wall bounce them right before the shock ends, and then do 5CC again. Then summon pumpkin, then 3C for 3 (?) hits when they reach the ground, and your frog gauge should go back to normal by now so you can summon george for some lock down. They should be in hitstun the whole if you did it right (and if I explained it correctly lol). Actually, maybe I did screw up explaining something. The amount of hits for 3C might be wrong.

Who do you have left to try?

Oh, and I love having my stick again. :3
Ragna, Jin, Bang, Hakumen, and Karuru Kurobaa.

From what I'm reading, Rachel has the mobility that allows her to turtle if necessary which helps a lot.

Hakumen is good at turtling. His mobility isn't amazing, but his range and damage is quite good. And he has counters. He's not for everyone but give him a try, if you're interested.

That's mainly for getting timeouts. But honestly, it's hard enough to maintain a lead for the duration of the match with her.
And using wind as a run away tactic during a match isn't good since you want to have wind handy for combos.
Without wind, Rachel is slow and sluggish.

So yeah, that mobility is only handy with 5 seconds on clock and you're winning.

Stop basing your decisions on reading text and watching videos. Pick up the game and play it.

When I played CT I took one look at Rachel and I liked her character and subsequently liked her playstyle. Then I played her story and liked her even more. I played others too and loved the manliness of Tager and the mega coolness of Carl (*finger snap*).

In CS, Rachel was out of the question (I like competition; as much as I love Rachel, I'd prefer playing against my opponent than against the ******** game) and I was at a loss for who to pick up other than Tager. I eventually discovered Bang and enjoyed his rushdown (free everything woo). Fast forward several weeks and Makoto is announced for DLC and she's top tier in my favorite characters of all time and her playstyle is almost exactly like Cammy's in SSFIV (my main).

You're having what I like to call Marvel Syndrome. You're overwhelming yourself with your own unsure expectations and it distorts your perception of the characters, unless you just plain don't like the game.

btw, I'm not a tier ***** on purpose. Literally, in every single game I play, I pick the character that appeals to me most, then I later find that said character is top tier. How convenient.

I typed too much, lol, but, you know, I'd like a story of how y'all discovered your respective mains too. I like stories.

I was in an arcade in Japan. When BlazBlue was first released. CT, I mean. I wasn't playing, because I was too intimidated. So, my boyfriend tried it while I watched.

Anyway...

I ended up watching the arcade intro several times, and I was, like, "Man, if I played this game, I would play that chick with the guns."

We get back from Tokyo, and eventually BlazBlue is announced for consoles, and my boyfriend asked me if I would play with him if he bought it, and I was kinda like yeah, okay. And I played the chick with the guns. I tried a bunch of other characters too, to be fair. Litchi and Tao, and whatnot.

But yeah. Dat Noel.

I've always loved Noel's overall design , so I decided to try her out. Luckily, she turned out to be my best character. :3

Of course, I'll probably dual main her and Kokonoe after Kokonoe eventually gets put in the game.

In Melty Blood, I play a lot of characters, but I'm best with Ciel. In Soul Calibur 2 (**** 4), I main Raphael. I've always just loved playing as him, lol.

I haven't really played many other fighting games, and I never really took those two seriously. BB is pretty much my first. XD

I just started looking into Rachel yesterday and I haven't had the time to play with Rachel some more due to homework. Anyway, the buffs on her, namely 6A being fixed, sound like she's much more viable now.

Oh yeah, she's going to be good, along with all the low tiers and Jin.

The game itself is looking increasingly bad and I don't like Arc experimenting with how far they can test their audience.

I think what he's trying to say is, just play the game. Don't worry about who you like or don't like. Just give everyone a try, and maybe what you find will surprise you.

I didn't expect to like Mu. I wasn't excited, and didn't give a **** about her overall design, mechanics, anything when she was announced. But she ended up being my sub because I liked the way she played.

So, you never know.

On a completely unrelated note, I'm gonna start playing more Zappa in GG, and learn silly Raoh combos for no reason.

Haters gawna hate. Just pause when H-man stomps, you'll see it.

Well, I think that when it comes to picking out your main, it mostly depends on if you like the character. I like Hakumen because he is a racist knight for great justice, has cool lines, and has dat ponytail.

Of course, that was from pure looks, but he was my first main since CT and I still main him, along with Tager because he has the power of SCIENCE, and Ragna because......

@Zero: Maybe if you didn't use Makoto against me, you wouldn't think that (Bang).

OH NO!!!! THIS COUNTS AS A POST!!!!!
