Also, if I remember correctly, most characters usually have at least two moves with fatal counter. There's also a couple characters with weird fatal counter properties, like Rachel's j.2C, for example, which can be used mid-combo.

edit: I take it back, Carl and Ragna both only have one fatal counter move. Go figure.

*cough cough* Or your subs.

Of course, enemies is fine too, miss 3-6 FC Mu. ;)
Mu only has three fatal counters, thank you very much.

5C, 3C, and 623B/j.623B.

Hey Lyth, mind adding Mu to my main list amd taking out Arakune? I'm loving her, and I think I'll make mer my main main instead of Noel. :3

_Indivisibility_
Sure, will do! I'm glad you like her, I won't be the only Mu anymore. :3

Makoto's fatals aren't as clutch as everyone else's /o\.

Only time it works is gimmicks.

Aside from whenever I'm using Rachel, I primarily go for FCs on obvious punishes like after an opponent's DPs.
I am was trying to work them into frame traps when I last played the game.

DAK, I wouldn't worry too much about FCs for now. But once you do get comfortable with the game, I suggest learning at least one FC specific combo for your character. Might as well learn how to best capitalize a situation like that instead of going into a normal BnB for less damage.

I could do them a lot in CS1 netplay for some odd reason lol. But yeah, I can do them on EX netplay now unless the connection's plain awful.

It sure is, because I am having a dumb moment! :bee:

Basically, you don't want to approach without cover. Mu's pressure and mixups are pretty lacking, but coming in off of some oki or good 236D setups, is the best way to approach and get in there. Also, don't forget about Habayaaaaa. It's really good now for creating cover to set up steins or extend your pressure.

Short for okizeme. It's just making them forced to block so you can continue your pressure or attempt a mixup after knockdown.

And cool! Thanks. Btw, for steins should I always charge them? They seem weak otherwise.

_Indivisibility_
Charging is good to keep your opponent on their toes, or in certain matchups, like against Hakumen. But it's not something that you need to use all the time. And keep in mind that you're not setting steins in an effort to deal damage to your opponent, but to force them to block. So, sometimes, you're going to want a stein that fires faster, because the charged ones take a while to get going.

Also, keep in mind that if you are hit or forced to block, your steins won't fire.

Good to know, thanks!

And wow, Steins are really useful! They're great for approaching...

... and for baiting someone into a game winning 4-stein explosion. I'm in love with Mu. :3

Mk, I was just curious, because I heard about them somewhere. Right now, I'm just getting a feel for what moves of Ragna can be cancelled into Distortion Drives, jumps, dashes, etc.
Because I'm hating at how some of my greatest combo moments come from me accidently pulling moves out of nowhere, and it works somehow, with how everything cancelled and whatnot. Maybe I'm just not quick enough to pull off some stuff yet . . .

Huh. It seems like Mu is hard to play online for me. Maybe it's because I'm actually using a character with normal combos, haha.

I'm still working on it, though! Using steins has definitely upped my game.
