From what I usually see in SF, it's all spaced attacks that just make you not want to move in fear of getting attacked out of escaping. Not like when Rachel has you in the corner and you have to block everything coming at you from the pumpkin, george, and the lightning rods. For those similar to melty, F-maids based pressure.

10 seconds of making you block instead of trying to bait an escape.

I don't play SF at all so maybe I'm completely wrong on that but that's not really the point xd.

My defense sucks too. :(

I love Blazblue's oki game. Catching people's rolls is probably one of the most satisfying things for me.

Yeah, it's right up there with getting a group of 4 people after you in Uncharted 2, pulling them all down, and getting 12 kills that are all pulldowns in a game. :bee:

Oh, that. I enjoy that too. I don't usually get to do it too often online though. :(

I wish I could play more offline. :(

The only thing online is good for is matchups.
And combos.
If you can do combos during insane lag you can do them with your hands tied behind your back.

My Defense is probably the best part of my game, too bad I'm not that great outside of it.

If I was smart I'd pick up Hakumen and take advantage of the fact that I can block damn near everything on a good day, but that's never going to happen.

Instead I play some characters that suck in pressure. :/

That makes your skill all the more valuable then. :3c

If you play a character that just crumples under pressure, then you've got it made if you can block.

Couldn't Jin IB and DP out of that pressure?
You could do the C or D DP. But C's startup is pretty slow, and there's a good chance that those moves would whiff through Jin's body, and the Noel would recover because they're so fast and pretty safe on block. D DP requires 25 meter, and I don't think he had it yet. The A DP could do it maybe, because it starts up in 6 frames, but you might as well just jab, if that's the case.

A good Jin player would just block.

A DP also isn't actually a DP, lol. It's just an anti-air with a giant hitbox. I don't even think it has head invul. Both A and B don't hit crouchers, so well timed 2a's would beat them handily.

I'm hoping for a disc version of the game because there's no way my 4GB Hard Drive that costs $100 to upgrade can handle another patch, especially not with Third Strike Online on my hard drive.

Also I was pretty good at CS1 and never got too into CS2. I've got a decent Jin though I guess.

I'll be up for it if there's a PS3 room tomorrow at 7. Just...probably gonna have to leave after an hour and stuff. Wednesday and all during CBS reality season, lol.

Spelt, when's a good time to do some BB today? I'm up for any time. It's been a awhile since I practiced so don't expect much, haha.

Edit: NVM, just saw the post in the other thread. I'll post it here too though. I'll be on 6 EST or so.

GGs, it was cool to get a chance to play you again.

My Valk was terrible though, a far cry from how I was playing a couple days ago. :urg:

Haha, I feel you there. I dropped every Mu combo. Even the ones I never drop. :I

Your Tao still scares/annoys me. But it's a good thing!

I felt so bad when you guard broke me about three times in a row with I think Platinum after I bursted twice, that was some hilariously bad playing on my part. XD

Tao is one of my least favorite characters to fight, so I can understand the feeling.

GGs, Spelt. That was pretty fun. Sorry about my connection, it usually isn't like that. Besides the lag spikes, it was smoother than I thought.

I'm going to actually start practicing BB more and get better now that I can play it again.

Edit: because my CS2 Rachel is like awful right now lol. I'll start using her more soon. She's as bad as my Ragna. I'm just too used to CS1 Rachel atm.
