It's true, though. I mean, they even made that whole big deal out of Krillin and Chaotzu not being able to be resurrected because they had both died twice. It would just be silly for Goku to come back to life in the middle of that all. Also, the whole "I can't feel his power any more" that lasted for like 20 minutes in the anime lasted for... two pages in the manga. Gohan never left to go fight Frieza all over again. Pretty much confirms the whole "Goku got slammed into lava" thing as time filler. And silly timing.

How is SC2 any way? The previews made it look like all races have OP **** to them, so I am kinda curious about the balance.

I find it ironic that in an anime that focuses on death, and shinigamis no ever stays dead in that show either except the bad guys. And even then not all of them die.
Like in the Bounto saga, that big dude with the mohawk who had that "doll" who was made of metal spheres. Hitsugaya shouldve killed him with his bankai but nope after the saga we find out he's alive. Its just funny lol

Yeah, sorry about that. The important thing was all the hype around the match. It was pretty much the inside joke of the entire tournament.

They didn't do that until after everyone was revived. Remember, the elder was dead, so the Dragon Balls on Namek were gone until AFTER the wish to revive everyone killed by Frieza was granted.

I couldve sworn they chose another dude as elder. And bing bang boom. Goku alive.

Now I remember how this happened.

The Namekian dragon was summoned by Dende because he could only be summoned by using a Namekian password. And he would only grant wishes spoken in Namekian.

The first wish was to revive Piccolo. Doing so brought the Earth Dragonballs back since Kami dies with Piccolo. And Porunga wasn't as Powerful as Shenron in the respect that he could only revive one at a time.

The second wish was to bring Piccolo to Earth since he probably wouldve been killed on Namek again.

Then the Guru of Namek died. However he hadn't died of natural causes. He died of grief from Frieza killing his children. And when Guru died Porunga went with him. Dende was also killed by Frieza because of Dende's healing ability.

So Shenron was summoned via newly restored and promptly collected Earth balls to revive everyone KILLED BY FRIEZA. Because Guru died of grief inflicted from Frieza he was revived. This brought back Porunga (Namekian dragon) and the final wish. He didn't need to be resummoned he just appeared again. But they were revived on Namek.

Since Porunga couldn't revive more than one person at a time Shenron had to be used for that wish. However Porunga could grant the same wish over again unlike Shenron. Piccolo had already been transported to Earth and So to take advantage of Porunga's unique power as the Namekian dragon...


Porunga's last wish was to transport everyone on Namek except Goku and Frieza to Earth.


Goku had already been killed before by Raditz and the Earth balls were used to revive EVERYONE KILLED BY FRIEZA. Earth balls still had theit limitation of only being able to revive someone who hadn't died of natual causes only once. So how could Goku had been revived? I just explained how the Namekian dragonballs were used (though they had the power to revive. Goku had he died) He wasn't killed by Frieza. But yeah he was knocked in the lava.

Eventually Dende would be made the Earth's Dragonball protector and would give us 2 wishes instead of one. And would be able to revive the dead once more. But that's after the Namek saga. The Earth balls could only be used once a year.
