Does anyone actually think Alex is good? Yeah he's the name behind Apex but it's a grassroot tourney so there's countless people behind the scenes doing all sorts of work which in Apex case I assume is 95% of the work. Any work I've heard of Alex personally handling is always bad. I thigh general opinion was that Alex was useless.

I didn't really read the post yet but I assume it's Alex bashing.

It's Alex bashing, but having worked with Apex for almost 2 years now, his role is PR and being the MC. There are about 2-3 main staff for every role (Brawl TO, Melee TO, Streamers, General Staff) along with all the volunteers.

He has his flaws but so does every Organizer. From a business stand point, you need someone like him. Someone who can be a face and can bring in people and sponsors. He has a solid group of people around him the make the playing field somewhat level.

You are scum.

Even if you aren't directly causing these problems, by supporting those that do you're accentuating the issue.

HItler didn't murder 6 million Jews on his own.

You're actually mentioning going to video game tourney and supporting the holocaust in the same sentence. I can tell you who's really scum and it's you.

That blog isn't alex bashing at all.

Either you believe the man is straight up lying when he says that alex promised him things that didn't come through and not paying him, or you don't. There was almost no "alex is an awful person and he sucks" in there, he posted facts about what the man has done. I mean if you don't believe him then you don't believe him, but if you honestly beleive that blog was alex bashing you should seriously consider working on your reading comphrehension.

And the only difference between a grimy video game tournament, and the holocaust is the gravity of the offense, both are still engaged in ethically incorrect activities, one of them just happens to have had far more sever consequences, shouldwe still support the one with lesser consequences even though its partaking in ethically immoral activites? No, because if something is ethically imooral, its ethically immoral regardless of the consequences.

whatever *****, i'm going to go play super smash brothers for the nintendo wii entertainment system with homies from all over the globe

bringing hitler into an internet argument should say something about the quality of the argument.

i am not a general fan of that cosplay picture representing smashers with the caption "we demand to be taken seriously", but it seems particularly apt now.

i offer empathy for those who were ****ed over by alex both directly and indirectly and apex grime, but that's about it. video games

Alex told me to drive his Uhaul to NY since his friend forgot where the keys were. lmao.

Anyways, making comparisons is fine. Anything that's "moral" is subjective and a way to control people.

You are actually wrong Kyle.

The driver, D1, lost his wallet in Detroit and was unable to drive the Uhaul of all the equipment that Strife and Team Apex brought from New York back to New York. He asked you, a respectable smash player from MI, if you were willing to drive the Uhaul back to NY for them. In return Strife was going to buy you a plane ticket from NY to MI for your effort.

I knew that was wrong, but still. I'm not going to drive to NY for someone that happen to lose his wallet. I'm sure he's a cool guy, but even if I knew him as a close friend, I would of have said no anyways. lol
How am I respectable? I'll take the compliment, but just wondering.

Idk like...I would've requested (at least...forgot to put this part in) a place to stay for the night, free breakfast, AND a plane ticket lol.

Oh..and since I'm using my own money for gas, I'd request to get paid back for gas too.

I'd ask for way more than that, lol. You realize the above means you'd just be getting a free breakfast in exchange for driving 10 hours, right? Because if you just stay home, you don't need a place to stay for the night, you don't need a plane ticket anywhere, and you don't need to pay for any extra gas.

Just follow the grime...
None of you should really bother debating with Tutu. You've all proven that you're incapable of pointing out the gratuitous logical fallacies he knowingly utilizes without using numerous fallacies yourself, which Tutu 'IS' capable of pointing out and rebutting (again, with an arsenal of circular logic, red herrings, and slippery slopes; but you don't know how to shoot those down without once more opening yourselves up to new arguments)

Take a couple debate classes, read philosophical/psychological literature, or otherwise edify yourselves on how to win a debate, or don't bother trying. You're only gonna make yourself look like an easily trolled idiot.

If that is the case.... **** THAT. Seriously any person with a right mind wouldn't do this. There would have to be money incentive and not just a plane ride back home in order for me to take him up on this. Looking at the blog GTZ wrote it seems that I probably wouldn't have even be compensated for my efforts leaving me more than likely stuck in NY. Like I said... **** that. Sorry YOUR driver was not responsible and left his wallet in Detroit. I don't even understand why he couldn't have just done it himself.

Ori if I may ask, what are YOU actually benefiting from being on the Apex team? Because if all of the things are true from the blog GTZ wrote I wouldn't want my name to be a part of some scumbag just trying to make a quick buck and refusing to pay people.

I do graphics mainly but at the tourney I was just an assistant for Keitaro/RJ. I'm like 1 step above volunteer haha.
