I was completely against banning MK for the longest time despite recognizing he was ban worthy. I've had that opinion for the longest time. Yes, I dislike Metaknight but I used logic, results and data before casting my vote. Between the buttload of information I had to sift through in the URC forum and tournament results, it started becoming more evident to me that it was time. I also made me decision based off of what I thought would be best for the community (not just MI) as a whole. And though I am not a top player, I do have a pretty good understanding of the game. Becoming a Researcher and looking at some of the raw data gave me even more to work. Then I decided enough was enough. It's really that simple. Call it whatever you want.

The TOs are the ones who have the final say on what rules they have for their tournament, so it makes perfect sense that they're the ones who can ban a character.

It's the players' job to give feedback on rules by either attending or not attending.
