lol, Happy birthday bro.

Just puttin up some updates from Genesis.

-Weruop (Olimar) and WarpStatus (ZSS) beat DSF (MK) and UltimateRazer (Snake) in pools
-Valdens (G&W) and JONT (Snake) beat Edrees (Peach) and HugS (ROB) in brackets
-Praxis and KOSMOS beat Hylian and Sethlon
-PAC NW crew lost to Puerto Rico
-Valdens and JONT beat Atomsk and Inui 2-1 in Pools
-Reflex (Pokemon Trainer) 2 stocked Tyrant (MK) in a friendly
-SK92 took 16 stocks off Europes only losing 1, SoCal won with 26 of 30 stocks remaining
So..... 2 people > Europe?

That's nice
That's what I never really liked about crew battles. One person can rip apart a crew. I'd rather it be more team representated where a each member on the crew holds equal amount of the weight. Like in 5 vs 5 you just do 5 seperate holding a Top Singles, 2nd Singles, etc. and have it best of 5. That way each person plays an equal part.

How the f _ _ k do "clan battles" work out in Brawl?
Like it was said, typically it's 5 vs 5 with 3 stocks each. In the start you use one person each and they do a battle. Who ever wins will face the next person in the crews line up with the same stock they finished with in the first round. Sometimes the same percent.

There are a few problems with that.

Let's make up 2 fake crews:

2 Pro's + 3 random scrubs who have never played brawl before in their life.

5 players who are "good" but not "great"

They have everyone do 1vs1:
Pro vs Good player - Pro Wins
Pro vs Good player - Pro Wins
Random Scrub vs Good Player - Good player wins
Random Scrub vs Good Player - Good player wins
Random Scrub vs Good Player - Good player wins

Crew 2 just won?

Now how it works in current system:

Pro vs Good Player - Pro takes out good player, but only with 1 stock remaining
Pro vs 2nd Good Player - Pro takes off 1 stock before losing
2nd Pro vs 2nd good player - Pro 3 stocks this 2nd good player's 2 stocks.
2nd Pro vs 3rd good player - Pro beats this player with 1 life remaining
2nd Pro vs 4th good player - Pro takes off 1 last stock before losing
Random Scrub vs 4th good player - Random scrub takes off 1 stock before losing
2nd Random scrub vs 4th good player - Random scrub gets lucky and beats the other player, with 1 life left
2nd random scrub vs last good player - scrub takes off 1 stock
3rd scrub vs last good palyer - scrub takes off 2 more stocks! Pro team wins!

<_< IMO crews are currently done in a fantastic system - just don't have.. really unbalanced crew fights.... like M2K+Ally+Lain+Tyrant+DSF vs 5 random no names

Then it just comes down to what defines a great vs bad crew.

I'd say that the crew with the 5 good players is the better crew than the one with only 1-2 pro players. Why should a crew that might pretty much be a 1 or 2 man team win? Shouldn't the crew that wins be the one that has more skill throughout the whole team?

If you can't take 3 stocks off a guy with 15, you suck.
This..... <__< it's also a bit easier to run.

You also strategicly send your players out. Maybe saving one guy to fight a guy he's really good against, etc. Being a crew leader takes knowledge of your crew and the opposing crew.

(EG: My crew leader Dao put me up against my friend Bam because he saw me 3 stock Bam on multiple instances. Needless to say, Bam was down to 1 stock and the match lasted 33 seconds (including the time it took for him to SD) with me taking less then 30%.... I then 2 stocked a Falco and was finally brought down by a second Falco because I got sick of camping.... )

Might I add I gave the crowd quite a show with my grab release > fully charged mine on FD. <3 I'm sure many people left with wet pants.

Dao strategicly used me to beat my friend.

Dao then ***** 7 or 8 stocks off the crew... <_< together myself and Dao beat 1/2 the other crew...fun story, amirite?

Dojo represent Texas mayne. wtf though, DEHF tried to get him disqualified for air planking? Thats pretty stupid.

Dojo won by running out the timer though, he played smart. DEHF is a sore loser lul, gtfo.

Even though he a Falco main, if he's gonna cry over losing to MK's, just wow haha.

No Enoch highlight? Or is that a different one? Sethlon at 49 kind of surprises me. Good **** to all those that went.

---

If we think Falco vs MK is 50:50, we're ********. MK is broken.

Wow, I stayed up watching the stream with 300+ more people.

Ally won, 6-1. M2K gave up at the end.

I didn't know if that was the same enochuout or not. And Champ is in there, I'll edit it tomorrow. Good **** all though.

Man, I've been neglecting Smash too much for WoW. What's up with the girl in everyone's avatar? All this time I thought it was the same person double-posting everywhere, lol.

I didnt' know that. I just know that it was a thing that got a lot of hype, and I got to be apart of it xD

Funny thing is how many people hate this  People cannot take a joke. It's just like us calling Ixxi Fence Kuro.
