Hey I'm a UT student... dying to play some Brawl with people who don't suck. Can I get more information about where/when you guys are meeting in Welch? If I'm invited that is . I've got a Wii, Brawl and gamecube controllers if that helps.

Of course you're invited. Our meetings are always open to whoever wants to come.
Normally we have our own meetings, but we're trying to set up a joint meeting between our group and the Austin's Melee group this week. The leader of their group hasn't posted any details beyond "Welch" and "on Jan. 28th", but I've been in contact with him and will update when they update.

Just keep an eye on this thread and look for an update. I'll probably change the thread title when that happens.

I'm definitely going to go now that a new guy and THE NAMELESS WANDERER are both showing interest. If nobody else shows, I was just going to play Rune Factory Frontier all day anyway, and I can do that anywhere.

Yeah I was gonna say how it's where the circuit championship was but Mustafa ninja'd me lol I'm too late. Like I said before Shaun, my friend is coming up from college station for the weekend to stay at my place cuz we haven't hung out in months, but let me know what time its goin down at and I'll do my best to at least make an appearance. Would like to stay for a while but well see bc unless my memory fails me (unlikely) he's not very big into video games to begin with, let alone competitive play haha

More realistically though, I'll be there from noon 'til at night, and people (read:melee players) will probably show up around 1. Bring TV's and brawl setups and it'll be way cool.

I'm going to see if I can bring a less blurry T.V. that I recently acquired, but it might kill me to lift it. It's about the same size as that one I used to bring, but it's a LOT heavier.

AND NICK, BRING YOUR LAPTOP. I don't want you whining about my arrow keys. Also, remind me to make decks. I have four different ones I run now and they're all really difficult to remember, so it'll take some time.

EDIT: Really wish you could set a song to play during specific character match-ups right now.
