Maybe it's just the sub-scrub seeing something where there's nothing, but not five seconds after that, well...

Re-examined both vids. Timing does fit the beginning of the dthrow (approx. 21:18-19 in the replays, approx. two seconds before the kill in either vid), and the shift took under a second - not even enough time for MK to finish tapdancing.

Excepting the very unlikely chance his grip was incredibly off when he regrabbed the controller, shouldn't have been an issue.

I retract my theory. Nice catch, Lapras.
