uci has grados for 25% off

should i get a pair?
Depends on which Grados but I'm assuming either SR60's or SR80's. They sound great but probably unlike any other headphones you've bought before. They're very detail oriented meaning the sound won't have a lot of bass and is focused more on treble frequencies. This is the main reason why SR60's are usually referred to as the "gateway into audiophilism."

They are not too hard to drive but do indeed sound better with an amp rather than a standard mp3 player/phone/computer. They're also open headphones so sound is designed to leak so it is not suitable for listening in libraries and/or other quiet places.

well i just ordered a pair of sr225i's for $152

i don't listen to bass heavy music

mostly rock and instrumentals

i was also just planning to keep them in my room also

since i read open head phones are usually better

if i wanna be on the go, a cheap pair will do

:phone:

ooh those should be quite nice.

I personally have Sennheiser HD-25 II, Sennheiser HD650, and a Westone 3. Headphones are awesome.
