rofl, if falco is moving anywhere it's down on the tier list, we've broken down his aggressive metagame so much he isn't as much of a threat anymore.

most likely, maybe Melee will go out in style as Brawl dominates.

not that it WILL die when brawl comes out, but it wont be on top if brawls as good as they say it will be.

I think that Melee will die completely, and the tier list for Melee will be irrelevant. Brawl is the FUTURE!!!!

Whoever said falco loses to peach is meh =p

I think its 50/50

And the top tiers seem to rotate very much.

When one is on top, people just **** that character by studying its metagame like hell thus reducing its threat and increasing threat on another character.

Woah, calm down buddy. There are still plenty of SSB tournaments for it's audience, especially since it can be played online.

The community is just much much smaller than Melee's...

edit// And probably filled with less idiots.

The fact that fox can chain grab falco is irrelavent. The tier doesn't take into account specific match ups. A big proof of this is that ice climbers are unable to chain grab samus ,but are still just right above her. I had forgoten that foxes recovery is far better then falco's but I still think that because of falco's shffling laser and shield shine to Dair back to shield shine ect.ect. he is in my opinion a far tougher opponent.

obv you are entitled to your opinon. however, aside from the fact that you have overlooked other things and that the tier list implicitly accounts for matchups, your logic is severely flawed.

Despite the same group of characters almost always being in the higher tiers, I'm glad that Smashers all over the place choose all kinds of different characters, instead of just Peaches, Marths, and Foxes.

Most of the tournaments that are still hosted for the SSB64 community are online I play in most of them.

Its just dumb to compare the two different tourney scenes Cort, they are vastly different.

i'm glad no character is perfect. the perfect character would have the attack and grab range of marth, the shine of fox, the lasers and combos of falco, the weight of ganon, the knee of captain falcon, the wavedash of mewtwo, the u-smash of pikachu, the recovery of samus, the downsmash of peach, and the awesomeness of sheik

Not quite, not really detailed enough though. The perfect character would have many more broken attacks over falcon's knee and pikachu's upsmash..
