This friend of mine is seriosuly pissing me off, i am able to beat him, but each time he grabs me throws at the floor and grabs me again fro at least 3-5 times. This is crazy and i am barely to break the brick wall, bu thats mostly when he gets his timing set-off.

I play with pit, btw, but is this tech inevitable when timed perfectly?

Yes, if he grabs you below 45%, he can keep regrabbing until 45%, at which point he can follow with another move.

Don't get grabbed.

Another chain throw topic.
Maaaaan.
No it's not, it'll stop at the edge, but basically, pick a character who can't be chain thrown if it's that aggravating to you.

If you don't like facing effective tactics, stop playing competitive smash and play FFAs with all items on high, and spam Kirby's down B or Ike's fsmash, it'll win you loads of matches, especially on basic brawl. *shudder*

Haha, most people forget about the IC's, but I play Melee1 a lot, so they're a constant threat to me :)

Just making sure. I'm actually really, really bad at Melee, haha.

So do I

I don't see why so many people prefer it to brawl (aside from it hving more tech skill).
Some people come up with so many ridiculous reasons for Melee being better that it's rediculous

Even from my limited foray into it, I can tell Melee is more technical and more "exciting," but I find Brawl's strategic, mental game much more fun. Brawl is about prediction and observation, Melee is about tech skill and speed. I prefer the former, but I can see why someone would prefer the latter.

Skill gaps between players were more prominent. Really though it's a matter of taste.
Oh, wait, Falco is higher on the Melee tier list, that's a good reason.

Melee Falco =/= Brawl Falco though, he's much tougher to play(well) as. His spike was godly though :)
