Good luck finding anyone to play in east TN xD. There's a smashfest at my place in murfreesboro this weekend though, as you'd prolly know if you read the past couple of posts, and you're welcome to come to it I suppose, if you don't mind the drive. Most of Memphis will be around too.
BTW, for everyone that doesn't know and is interested in coming, me and KO are in another apartment now, so it's not where the house of smash tourneys were.

not anymore, they were pro it was for memphis and i was 4th somehow and i live in arkansas 2 hours away from them so i liked them :D

we should definitely throw a new PR up soon. I might do it after the next tournament, because so far BunBun hasn't been in a tourney with Myztek in it. So I'm trying to see where they'd fall in the grand scheme of things.

just for memphis area would be better way of doing power rankings
you can ask to have an ELO ranked match if you feel you could beat someone who has a higher or even ELO than you that you didn't get to play in tournament
kind of like the old idea for the list but no longer fighting so and so before fighting someone else
if you have questions about ELO and how we can make it work really well the melee discussion has a thread about it

So after playing with the ELO beta software I'm going to say no.......... It's not that accurate. It definitely makes calculative mistakes. Here's how the ELO ranks Memphis Players (with scores):
1st - Iori (1286)
2nd - Myztek (1197)
3rd - IHSB (1164)
4th - Tron (1124)
5th - ToasT (1089)
6th - BunBun (1057)
7th - Cyner (1021)
8th - Zulu (1011)
9th - WEZL (1004)
10th - Baki (968)
11th - Hazard (961)
12th - BMW (942)
13th - Super Kenshin (940)
14th - nZo (908)
15th - LlamaSensei (899)
16th - Glitter (883)
17th - zZz (877)
18th - Claxton (864)
19th - TastY (805)
So I will now explain how this is horrifically incorrect. Myztek is a definite 3rd. The reason the ELO system ranked him at 2nd is because IHSB and Iori were in Tuscaloosa during the last tourney so he won. In 4th - 6th, it has Tron before BunBun and ToasT, but BunBun and ToasT have both beaten Tron in tournament matches. From 11th - 19th there are SOOOO MANY things wrong I am about to cry. For starters zZz should be in 11th. I personally beat BMW, nZo, and Hazard. and Glitter (my gf) should be ranked last for sure. She hasn't won a match in tourney play yet. Super Kenshin has won only 1 tourney match, so he should be lower. Either way this is no way an accurate depiction of Memphis Rankings.
I think it might be the fact that it's still in Beta, but this is bad. I'm voting against ELO rankings.

@ gibson - there's gonna be a bunch of people here, and most if not all are crashing here. I think memphis is gonna be bringing around 7-10, + 3 from brentwood, another one from the middle of nowhere, and then 3-4 local murf people (including me and KO). I tried to influence some of Bama, but by the time I had a date for this, they couldn't call off for work, so they prolly won't show up. Either way, there'll be plenty of people, so whatever.
Also we're gonna need more setups than we currently have, so if anyone driving has room, pack up.
