Hey guys, A.R.K. III (One of the South's largest fighting game tournaments) is coming up on April 2nd at Conway Gaming Center in Conway, AR! We are expecting at least ~120 people at this tournament featuring games such as Melee, Brawl, Project: M, SSF4, BB:CS, Tekken 6, Arcana Heart 3, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, and more! The Smash portion of the event will be run by Smashboard's own VTS and we will have a recording station available for you to record whichever matches you deem necessary (just work it out with the station manager). Hay guys late notice, but this Friday we will be celebrating jack's, buns, and If he shows kyo b- day.

The party may be pony themed so beware. Also if you could get there before 6:00 that would be great. Jack pls confirm this, along with directions.

Knoxville Tourney

Hello fellow TN smashers, I wanted to make it known that I'll be hosting a small tournament in Knoxville during a convention. Link to Topic. I know it's late notice and not a huge event (at least not Smash wise anyway), but I figure people in the immediate area are probably jumping at the chance to get some smash in locally, given that we don't exactly live in the gaming center of the country.

Smashers are coming in from Oklahoma, Tennessee, Arkansas, and several more states to compete!

Note that our tournament is now sponsored by Game On Apparel, Shadaloo.eu, Borderland Games, Broken Tier, and the Bat Cave, which will each be providing additional prizes and bonus pots for our tournaments. Also, well-known regional modder DaRabidDuckie will be on hand to provide dual mods (PS3 <-> 360) for fight sticks.

Hi guys, Age here from the Murfreesboro area. Just wanted to put my name out there as a newbie smasher from Tennessee. :)
I've played Melee for a long time, but never knew about all these advanced techniques. Just the past few days I've been reading the forums and whatnot and practicing, hopefully I can get around eventually.

Hey hows it going? Yoshiiscool and I actually live here in Murfreesboro too. we should get together sometime soon. We are both fairly decent.

I'd be up for it. I also wouldn't consider myself good. I still have issues beating level 9 computers, but I'm working on it.

I actually live in Smyrna on the weekends right now, but I should be back in Murfreesboro on Friday/Saturday every week. Not really a big difference, just figured I'd mention it.
