I thought I had a good combo, but then I realized that, outside of Land Speed, the Zucchini is **** lol. I stuck with it tonight cuz Im used to it, but I need to mess around and find something better

You should see '3K then. His winning combo includes the Zucchini.

I like the Zucchini! I run it all the time, the only issue I have is some handling issues but I find the speed makes up more for it.

With Zucchini, you gain Land Speed, but you lose Sea and Air Speed, Accel, Land Handling, Mini-Turbo, and Drift. Thats A LOT im missing out on there for just a measly 0.5 Speed. I know it's still not too bad considering it has the highest speed output for a Body part, put I think Id rather get a 0.25 Speed boost and keep that MT, as well as add some speed in the Sea or Air as well by going something like the Soda Jet.

I don't exactly trust the Prima guides. For one example, Cact-X boosts handling and off-road, but Prima claims that it hinders off-road. At least, that's what I've recalled.

Cloud 9 goes faster in Sea and Air, good Accel, great Handling everywhere, and good Mini-Turbo, and good Drift. It lacks ground Speed and Weight though.

My Mario Kart 7 Stat Viewer basically gives you the in-game stats for your combos. I have not included the hidden stats, due to my currently skeptical thoughts, but you can easily do some math to figure out the totals for the hidden stats.

TT results prove that the hidden stats exist. Without them, people would be getting the better times with other combos.

For example, the current World Record TT for Wario Shipyard goes to Yoshi/Egg 1/Wood/Swooper. According to only the 5 basic stats, it would make no sense that that combo would be the best, but once you look at the hidden stats, it makes perfect sense.

When you make really sharp turns as you drift, you start to tilt onto your two side wheels, which decreases your Speed and Handling. Stability decreases that tilt. It's most noticeable underwater.
