This post reminds me of how Geodude is practically everywhere in Pearl.

On a side note, Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald have an absurd amount of zigzagoons. Also, as Magnetman pointed out, the doubles rule can royally screw you over too and there's a lot of places in the game where it doesn't even matter all that much because the places have a ton of diversity (the Safari Zone is a prime example of this).

Second note to self: Be extremely careful with the doubles rule.

I think I'll start off with the basic rules, and start applying more to make it more difficult as I go, but that's probably what a lot of people do for Nuzlocking.

Well halite could be deadly if you get it into your eye... Probably not but I can hope!

His rock blast almost killed my growlithe when I was trying to catch him but thankfully it only hit twice =D So I have faith in his power...
Also I caught a level 17 petilil... Since I won't be using it (I already have a good grass type, but I heard lilligant's awesome so if I ever lose Pierre I'll know who to call) I'll name her my self... Yes her name shall be rosebud... I am clearly the most creative namer of our generation.

We arrived at the lake with great speed. Only stopping for a moment of rest once we got there. "Hey *pant* Sartigy, see that thing in the grass over *pant* there?"
I looked over to see a brown briefcase. Paul walked over to it. "Paul, what are you doing?" "I wonder whats in here?" Paul asked himself. "Paul, that's not ours!"

He ignored me, and opened it.

Just then, a flock of Starly descended upon us. There must have been hundreds of them. "Sartigy, quick! Take this!" Paul threw something over to me. But it was too dark to make out what it was. It landed at my feet so I picked it up. "Use it!" Paul screamed. I tossed it in the air.

Out popped a Flame creature that I have never seen before! It's flame-tail illuminated the area around us. Automatically, the little Poke'mon attacked the Starly, as if by instinct. Clawing and firing embers out of it's mouth. I haplessly dodged attack after attack from the Starly; getting pecked and scratched here and there. After what seemed like an eternity, the Starly either lay dead or flew away.

"You alright?" I yelled to Paul, who also had a small Poke'mon by his side. His creature seemed like a small flightless bird. "Yeah, how about you little guy?" "Pip!". the creature exclaimed. Looking back to my Poke'mon, it looked like a miniature humanoid.

"Hey!" A large old man with a girl about my age ran towards us.

I haven't gotten caught up with the Nuzlockes I follow since my 6+ month Internetless hiatus. Among those already listed, I religiously followed Nya~chan, OhGosh, Feliks, and a few others. Feliks' in particular was strong with the feels if you followed the story.

I do LOVE when you manage to find an incredibly rare pokemon in a run and get to catch it though. I once managed a Yanma, Tauros, and Dunsparce in one run!

And yeah, Yellow definitely has advantages... Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander AND Squirtle..? Your already set for the game with that.

Your best possible chance is a voltorb on route 10 or the power plant. (wait do you go to route 10 after cerulean?) But other then that there's nothing else but evolving eevee into jolteon in celadon... Though you may want to consider trying to get something from the celadon game corner they can give you an abra easily and also a dratini.

I think aside from Pikachu, Voltorb is the only relatively-early Electric type you can get, but that's after Cerulean City, Diddy.
