Though the obvious downside of having a magnemite/omastar/omanyte named after me is that those will most likely be late game XD
That is true.... Demna made the right choice, already got a name in the prolog! XD

If I had hands that liked to draw, I'd make a comic for sure. However, my hands do not like to cooperate when I attempt anything artistic. You can if you'd like, it's a fun way to push your creativity. I always look at the severe dark side of "the challenge" in mine after an interesting incident I had in another challenge, it'll probably be referenced as cool backstory in mine.
This is one of the best Nuzlock comics i've seen on swfI could probably draw a comic on par with the original
But ehhhhhh I'm lazy XD![]()
That is the first nuzlocke comic ever from the guy who freakin' CREATED it so yeah it's good XDThis is one of the best Nuzlock comics i've seen on dA
But Sartigy's been living there for at least 10 years, right?Prologue - The Red legend
My story key:
* - nondialogue event
*The news came on*
*It talked about a ginormous red Pokemon in the middle of a lake just north of my town*
"Sartigy, come here!", my Mother yelled from her T.v downstairs.
"Paul wants you to go to the Lake, you should meet him at his house first."
"Okay mom - I'll be back before dinner!", I yelled running out the door, barely managing to put on my backpack before leaving.
It was a cold August morning. Dew on the grass was glistening in the young sun's rays of light. Good thing I had my jacket on before I left.
*knock-knock* I stood in-front of Paul's house door. Strange, all the houses around here seem to look the same. He answered the door.
"You ready, Sartigy?" Paul asked with his usual childlike grin.
" I bet readier than you - lets go." I answered.
We left the town with the swiftness only childhood could harness. Curiosity being our fuel - adventure being the reward.
Little did we know, up ahead would change us forever.
*To be continued* (After I exercise)
He was born there. His Birthday is in 3 months, then he'll be 10 years old.But Sartigy's been living there for at least 10 years, right?
So he's still not used to the uniformity and nondescriptness of his neighborhood, hm? Odd.He was born there. His Birthday is in 3 months, then he'll be 10 years old.
No, he's familiar with his town. Its just one of the things people never seem to notice. Don't YOU just notice things after years of NOT noticing them?So he's still not used to the uniformity and nondescriptness of his neighborhood, hm? Odd.
Too much hype. Here are some of the best Nuzlocke comics hands down:
Hale's Emerald Run: http://s7.zetaboards.com/Nuzlocke_Forum/topic/848749/1/
Freddy's Blue Run: http://s7.zetaboards.com/Nuzlocke_Forum/topic/8299951/1/
Petty's Leaf Green Run: http://pettynuzlockelg.smackjeeves.com/
These are what inspired me to do 5 Nuzlockes back to back two summers ago.
Wii Fit Trainer wants it.CANNOT UNSEE.
Messed up images delivered to my head aside, good luck with your Nuzlocke, Capps!
I'll admit, Petty's made me cry at some parts. It was really well written and you felt a genuine sense of loss when some of the Pokemon died. Hale's is just plain epic and Freddy's is hilarious largely because it shoves a sharp stick in the eye of Nuzlocke runs that are told like complete and total sob stories.
It pains me in most of these nuzlocks when one of the pokemon dies, I'm not into the sap stories either but you really feel for the player when all of their effort is thrown away, it really adds to the suspense.I'll admit, Petty's made me cry at some parts. It looks pretty good, from a story and art direction.Has anyone else here seen ky-nim's Diamond and White Nuzlockes on deviantART?

RollypollyOK I just caught a male roggenrola, level 18. I'll name him after the first one to reply :3
How relevantRollypolly
I'm assuming that rule would not apply to pokemon other then the first in a route. But I could go for that rule. It expands upon the no catching the same pokemon twice rule.I'm new to Nuzlocking, so this may or may not be a rule already but-
One rather hardcore rule I came up with is that once you see a Pokemon type, that's your only chance to capture it. No Pokeballs or fail to capture it, and you'll never get another chance.
However, if you encounter an evolved or lower evolution of that type later on, you are allowed to try and catch it.
I'm actually running that rule, but I'm restricting it by only letting my self one more try if I run into one I already own.I know that this will cause a lot of Nuzlockers to give me the finger but I like playing with the doubles rule (if the first Pokemon you run into on a route is one you already own, Nuzlocke rules don't apply until you run into one you don't own). I like the diversity it promotes and, in my opinion, it makes the runs a lot more interesting.
I recall a nuzlocke run where the doubles rule screwed me over and I couldn't find a pokemon to use fly for me XDI started using the doubles rule because, swear to god, on one of my trial runs with Fire Red I ran into pidgey as the first pokemon for 5 ROUTES IN A ROW.
Note to self: Always use the doubles rule, no matter what.I started using the doubles rule because, swear to god, on one of my trial runs with Fire Red I ran into pidgey as the first pokemon for 5 ROUTES IN A ROW.
